On the way back from Waterford to Dublin, pulled into Kilcullen for lunch without knowing where I would go. Went into Trip Advisor for a recommendation and it directed me to Bardons based on best reviews. Found Bardons but was not open so then asked a local and they advised I tried Joeys which I did. Walked in and it was very quiet which made me think, this is not a good sign but proceeded anyhow. There was a lovely selection of carvery and I went with the braised beef stew with mash & roasties. Very well priced and really enjoyed it. Warmed me up on what was a dull and damp day. Very friendly bar woman / waitress on duty. If I were back in Kilcullen, would go there again / recommend.
