“Best of Bletchley”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

It's hard to find a reason for visiting Bletchley near Milton Keynes, but if you got lost on your way to an interesting place do stop at this excellent Indian restaurant. The interior isn't cosy at all, personally I'd call it bad taste modern, but the food is marvelous. Contrary to many Indian restaurants you can really taste the many spices as every dish is freshly made when ordered. Service is very friendly and the manager is clearly - and rightfully - proud of his cuisine.

“Another lucky find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014

Went on a Monday to Veggie World which is next door however they were closed, so gave Sai Matra a try, those of you who have read my reviews will know I love South Indian cuisine and particularly Marsala Dosa and this place is great with a selection of them unheard of in my experience.

Thoroughly recommended but beware you will find a lot of different things on the menu, open your minds and give it a try.

“Authentic Quality South Indian Food and Very Reasonable Prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

If you are fed up of the standard Indian Restaurants and their British orientated menus then you have to try out Sai Mantra. The South Indian fusion menu offers fresh tasty food at great prices. We have been eating here for over two years and the standards have not dropped. Make sure you ask for the fried Tilapia strips or Chicken 65 as a starter as they are amazing. The Masala Dosa's are the biggest you will ever see and very filling and the curries are so tasty without being too spicy. Add this to the best chicken fried rice you will ever taste and you cannot go wrong at this restaurant. Yes, the service is a little slow at times but if you want fast food go to McDonalds. The quality of the food is definitely worth the wait.

“Typical Asian service but great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

Yes as other commentators have mentioned the service can be slow but absolutely no need for some of the extreme remarks.

Hey you know what? This is not the days if the blinking British Empire.

And how can one commentator dare to insult this restaurant on the basis of an experience at a different restaurant? That's so unprofessional and unfair. Your review should be removed on the basis of tripadvisor rules that you need to have experience of the actual establishment not another even though related.

I recommend some of the reviewers here get off their high horses. Go to Asia if you have not been... They are not as stressed there as people here. Anyone would think you had been given a raw deal at The Ivy the way you go on! It's just a little family style restaurant in Bletchley with tasty food.

May be that's why I can just enjoy this delicious cheap food.

If I had to serve such prima Donnas I would up the prices 500% and collect your money pronto as you just don't deserve to grace this establishment.

Yo!
