“Good burgers and shakes”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

I've lived within a few short miles of the Thrifty Scotsman Drive-in for more than a couple of decades and just recently stopped in to check it out, and I've been missing out. I've been back a good half dozen times now in the past year. The burgers are big and tasty as are their milkshakes. The prices are a little better than most big chain burger joints too. The wait in the drive-thru will require you to head to the nearest gas station though so just park it and head inside. The staff are always friendly and smiley.

“For 6 dollars I am happy”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

I ate at this little family joint in Spokane and it was good. I got the Scotsman Burger and small fries for $5.52. For the price it was great. The burger has a slice of ham on it along with cheese, Mayo and the normal toppings. The fries were thick cut, were very hot and had not sat around. When I was there the staff was cute girls who were friendly and helpful and the customers were normal Americans, not snobby folks from the "mossy" side of Washington :)

“Grew Up Here”
Reviewed 6 June 2013

The food here is as good as it get's in the fast food world. It's privately owned. Just a single location only 'mom & pop' drive-in. The employees are always polite and friendly. The food is plentiful and delicious. The tartar is one of three of the best recipes IN THE COUNTRY. I've been coming here since I was just a small kid and visit it everytime I travel back home. I recommend trying the Super Ham or Super Bacon.

“Great price, Better food”
Reviewed 1 May 2013

A must. If your looking for good food on a budget than a super bacon or super ham with a large french fry is what you are looking for. A sure case of eyes being larger than the stomach while keeping cash in your pocket.

“Disgusting food”
Reviewed 17 December 2012

Stopped in for a quick bite during the summer. Everything I had tasted like it was basted in grease before they served it. Fries were cold and soggy, burger was dry and flavorless. Will never stop in again.
