“Just Lovely.”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A warn cosy yet spacious farmhouse, House very suitable for two families of four with two double and two twin rooms. We were three generations who stayed very happily for a week sleeping in very comfortable beds with good linen and fab towels. Three loos, one separate, and a shower and bath made for easy mornings and the downstairs shower and separate utility were very handy. I was almost tempted to do some ironing! Two large receptions and one with no television was great. The views were stunning with much wildlife including lambs, birds and rabbits. There were a variety of levels of walking and cycling directly from the house. A cycle path passed just below the garden though was at a lower level and was in no way intrusive. A variety of beaches are within easy reach -Twywyn recommended grandchildren loved travelling by train to seaside. Son in law loved having fishing on the farm though away from cottage it was easily reached.. Lots of other fun, history or just peace and quiet . Owner Richard friendly but in no way intrusive. If children the garden is lovely - ideal for hide and seek with lots of trees though there could be some safety issues with some of the outbuildings. All in we had a really lovely easy time staying at Gwengraig and definately hope to return.

“Well appointed holiday house with stunning views.”
Reviewed 6 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Seven family members stayed for a week in this four double bedded, two bathroom farmhouse just outside Dolgellau. There is so much to do and see in this beautiful area. The house is well equipped, comfortable beds, dishwasher and excellent laundry room and a log burning stove with a good supply of logs. Mr Price was very friendly and helpful as were all the locals we talked to. The Cross Foxes pub is only a mile away and the food is excellent. We hope to return to Gwengraig.
