What a gem of a place, the owners Pat and Jeff are great hoteliers, warm and inviting. The breakfast eggs yummie, extremely fresh. The accommodation clean and homely. We would recommend this bed and breakfast and would stay again.

Me and my 4 year old son thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Cliff Farm. Pat and Jeff were very friendly and extremely helpful. After noting that Oliver didn't like orange juice on our arrival, Pat got apple juice in especially for breakfast. She was also happy to supply his habitual evening glass of milk when his dippy mum forgot to buy any. The accommodation, food, facilities, views, sheep, etc., were all as described on website....lovely. Oliver particularly enjoyed playing with the lego in the living room and feeding the sheep after breakfast (as well as our view of the windfarm). Pat also made some excellent recommendations including Bodiam Castle where we had a fantastic day at a medieval festival. I would definitely recommend to anyone with car wanting to stay near Rye and Camber Sands.

We have been going to cliff farm for 30 years we love it. Pat and jeff are lovely people and make you feel welcome. They now have on suites in two of the rooms which are great, but it was never a problem for us but some people prefer it. Always spotlessly clean and tidy, full english breakfast which is great and sets you up for the day. The surrounding country side is to die for, so peaceful, and good for wild life, I saw a Barn owl fly past the window which was amazing. Some lovley walks to out over the marsh. I would Highly reccomend the B&B no place like it, also good for touring The Ancient Town of Rye, which is wonderful. Thanks Pat and Jeff for great place to stay.

Room Tip: the room with on suite or room with shower room opposite room

We were introduced to Pat & Geoff a couple of years ago by their neighbours and we never thought we'd be staying there. However there was a bit of a do and we all had to find accommodation. We weren't disappointed. An extra special welcome from Pat who offered all six of us tea and biscuits on arrival. We all had double bedded rooms rustically decorated. One was with a newly installed en suite bathroom, the other two with separate bathrooms and loos. We were the only guests in the farmhouse and enjoyed this privacy. Breakfast was served at 845am and was so filling that we all decided that we wouldn't be able to eat lunch! The sheep in the adjoining fields completed the idyllic picture and, although Pat had warned us that they may wake us up, this didn't happen and we all had a good night's sleep. Altogether a great experience and, yes, we would recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for the en suite room if you need to get up in the night! All rooms are light and airy with view...

We have stayed at cliff farm every year for about 7 years. We were there again (12th 13th 14th july) & once again Pat & jeff were brilliant hosts. They seem to treat you as family, chatting in their own front room or having a really pleasant cuppa (sometimes something a little stronger) at 'The Sundowners Arms'. The food, accommodation & the welcome is second to none. My rating may seem a bit o.t.t but we really cannot find fault with Cliff Farm.

Room Tip: you will not be dissappointed with any of the rooms

Cliff Farm is tucked back off the A-road, under a steep hill, with sheep in the paddock in front and behind. The Royal Military Canal was at the end of their drive 1/3rd of the way along from the Winchelsea end - so a perfect place to stay for anyone intending to walk the canal. I thought it was lovely. The rooms were a decent size. They reflected a cottage style with old fashioned furniture/pictures - but they were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Each bedroom had a personal bathroom space (though not all en-suite). There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room; and a tv lounge on the ground floor. The view from my bedroom window was beautiful and I was sorry to have to leave it behind! A decent sized cooked breakfast was offered with as much tea and coffee and you liked. The sheep had any toast we couldn't manage! Pat and Jeff were knowledgeable about local pubs serving good food for our evening repast - and were friendly and welcoming. They welcomed dogs to stay too - though we had to leave ours in the car at breakfast time, as they weren't allowed in the dining room or to stay in the bedroom alone. That aside, I thought it was a lovely place to stay - and the charges were really reasonable. Just a couple of miles outside Rye; and close to Appledore and the Romney Marsh.

Room Tip: I had the room overlooking the back paddock. I'd definitely plump for that one again.

We would like to say Thank you to Pat Sullivin, our host on the Cliff Farm, B & B. She made our stay very enjoyable and offered us help whenever wanted. We liked her nice and homely house very much. The breakfast she cooked and served together with her husband Jeff was not only typically English with all the traditional ingredients, it was simply great. We appreciated the lead and the hints she gave us for spending a day in Rye and for delicious pub food in the Rye and Playden area. Thanks a lot.
