Just to confirm the previous excellent reviews - a lovely short break with great hosts. The room, in keeping with the whole house, if beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. Thoroughly recommended.

A lovely retreat - just what we were looking for. Kind and warm hospitality, exquisite attention to detail and a lovely home-cooked breakfast complete with home-made bread, jam, and marmalade - thoroughly recommended!

Recommended to us by our daughter, who had stayed here previously. Not disappointed, an exquisite B&B , we arrived mid afternoon, greeted by Rosemary on a sunny afternoon, who invited us to explore the beautiful gardens, whilst she served us tea, and cakes in a sunny garden retreat. We were blown away by the hospitality of Rosemary and Peter, and enjoyed the aroma of freshly baked bread each morning, accompanied by home made juice from the orchards, and honey from the hives. We were fortunate enough to be in the gardens when the local bee inspector came around, and the hubby got the chance to don the beeproof suits and participate. I watched from a safe distance :) A most delightful stay, and one I hope to return to soon x

It's clear very soon after you arrive why the Ivydene has the reviews it's enjoyed previously.

A beautifully set house with large garden in a picturesque village. The owner Rosemary looked after all guests with an remarkable dedication. Rooms are faultless, beds comfortable and very well appointed.

Breakfast was superb with a fabulous accompaniment of home made jams and apple juice.

Nothing was too much trouble in an all round excellent B&B - including offering us free papers because I was a bit tall for the upstairs room! We didn't take this very kind gesture and would wholeheartedly recommend the ivydene.

We stayed with Rosemary and her family for one night only as we were travelling on to another B and B in the area. What a pity, Ivydene is absolutely magnificient. The house is located in the very nice, quiet and peaceful hamlet of Uckinghall but close to the Railway Public House which did good value food . Ivydene's furnishings are excellent and the gardens lovely. Breakfast was great and presentation wonderful. Rosemary was a very good host ,very helpful and accommodating. We haven't been to the Cotswolds for many years but we will return as soon as we can and Ivydene will be at the top of our list to stay. Next time it will certainly be for more than one night.
