After checking the winery website, we decided to take a ride from our hotel in Aix. We arrived after driving several km on a narrow winding and treacherous 2 lane drive to the winery.Inside the gift shop we were told that tours and tastings are only available with a prior reservation. NO WHERE on the website does it specify a required reservation. In fact it states:”wine tasting available everyday M-F 2:00-7:00.” Their attitude was arrogant and very dismissive when I mentioned their website. Find another winery to visit!!

Contacted the Chateau to arrange a visit just a day before and got warm welcome from the host. He showed us around in the winery and was very generous to let us taste all their rose, white and red wines for free... we especially liked the white and got a few ones from each type as very good souvenir.

Not far from Marseille nor Aix-en-Provence... and a definitely good place to stop by in the road trip.

We went there suggested by our paper guide and it was a stunning discover!we could not visit the cave as we wanted but we really appreciated the good wine (above all one of their red which is great).
We also had the chance to attend a jazze concert in the night there o a very charming landscape.
The small caste is really nice and looks like you can imagine an ancient French countryside noble house.

I only hope they will restore it soon.

Go there on you wine tour!

We stopped in for a free tasting but left with a case of wine. We have tasted a lot of french wine this trip but this wine is in our suitcase, we love it.

My Taiwanese friends were greatly welcome by the team, they will keep a unforgetable souvenir. The wine tasting at the middle of the pinedes is just superb!
