Extremely disappointed by the lack of competence displayed by the so called 'managers' of the Blue Heron. A year a go we made several bookings for guests travelling nationally and internationally who were coming to our wedding. We put a good amount of business through them and they managed to mess up every single one of our bookings. My guests were left without the accommodation that I had specifically chosen for them after they had double booked our cabins. Other guests who had made their own bookings were downgraded and left out of pocket. When I tried to resolve the issues with the managers they passed the buck, blaming the previous managers and saying that they could not help as it was out of their hands - they were after all "only the managers". A little bit of good will and help goes a long way in my book... as does word of mouth and so far I have nothing good to day about them. It's sad when you can not put faith in and support your local businesses but I am left feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed with our experience. Would certainly not recommend to anyone, drive the extra few km and stay in Frog Town would be my suggestion.
