This is a very convenient place to stay if you like to do winter activities with your family. Conveniently located just steps from Heavenly is a MUST go place to enjoy a family vacation. You should take some movie rentals with you as their variety is not as good for "on demand" options specially if you are traveling for a nice relaxing family weekend getaway.

Stayed here once as a Monarch Grand Vacations owner in 2005 and again this week. The decor appears pretty similar six years later, so I agree with others that it is a bit outdated. Our suv had a roof rack, so we couldn't use their valet-only parking. That was kind of a drag; we had to walk up near Heavenly to park each night. I was concerned about a break-in being so isolated, but luckily no issues. Mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, for reheating leftovers basically. You can't prepare real meals here. I just loved the huge spa, the kids could "swim" in it at night or hubby and I could soak after a day of skiing. Minor complaint was the wooden shutters have gaps in between them, so when you take a shower your little kids can peek in from the living room. Didn't notice this the first time we stayed here w/o the kids. haha

I may return for a third visit sometime and I would recommend Tahoe Seasons to others.... but for how much I paid for holiday travel, I'd prefer to have breakfast included. Food was a bit expensive in Tahoe. Yet, so was bowling....don't get me started. :)

Don't stay here!!! The front desk staff is dismal; the valet in completely inattentive and won't bring up your car unless you go outside with your ticket (you cannot call valet on hotel phone to bring up car); the bellmen are surly; the property is old and dated. There are signs everywhere that the hotel is under construction, but there are absolutely no indications of any kind of work being done.

We are Monarch Grand owners who bought a 2 bedroom/2 bath, full kitchen timeshare. This property DOES NOT have kitchens, only a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee pot. You have to eat every meal outside your "apartment," which means this is an very expensive vacation. This is not what we paid for nor what we expected.

Buyer beware!

Room Tip: Don't stay above the pool - so noisy!!

We stayed at Tahoe Seasons for Thanksgiving week. Although it was clean and in a great location, the unit along with the Resort itself is in desperate need of renovations...it's so 80's! I'm an owner here ( with Monarch Grand Vacations) and I was surprised at the condition of this facility in comparison to Cancun in Vegas and Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. Here's what I'd like to see changed:
-Remove the HUMONGOUS jacuzzi tub-wastes tons of water, dangerous getting in and out of for kids and adults
-Remove all wall mirrors, especially in the toilet room...so unnecessary
-Update all furniture
-Add a few kitchen dishes (at least real cups for coffee)
-Remove vegas-lighted steps inside room-totally unnecessary and annoying.
If this resort doesn't renovate, I won't be staying here in the future. With 2 small children, it just wasn't practical to have a jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room. The restaurant for breakfast, however, was delicious.

Nice timeshare for reasonable price, got 1 wk for just over $200. Room has plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children, spa, 2 flat screen tvs but no kitchen. A little out of the way but w/ a car is ok. There is heated pool and spa. Would go back again and recommend it to people.

We stayed in the Fairmont-size room which sleeps 6. It had a spacious living room and bedroom. The dining area is cramped, as noted in other reviews. The sofabeds must've been new because they were surprisingly very comfortable.

Our tween daughters loved the jacuzzi which my husband would fill up while we were swimming. The lobby is wonderful, and the valet/bell/concierge staff are the best. We enjoyed the board games we borrowed from the bell desk, the breakfast at the restaurant, and buying a few things at the sundry/gift shop.

Grocery shopping and restaurants are all conveniently nearby. Our favorite Japanese restaurant is Off the Hook; our favorite casino buffet, was Montbleu, and our favorite theatre was at Horizon, our favorite bike rental is Camp Richardson's, our favorite horseback riding stables is Zephyr Cove. Our favorite beach (this year) was Riev Beach, the only beach where dogs can run loose. We enjoyed biking around Tallac Site with its museums, gardens and cabins. Using the 2-for-1 arcade coupons from TSR's bell desk, the girls had a blast at Harvey's/Harrah's arcades. We really enjoyed the long-running magic show at Montbleu.

We'll go here again.

Room Tip: Get the "Fairmont" rooms if you can. They sleep 6 and have a separate shower area from the...

We came here for one of the marathons - so we were not here to ski.
We started off being assigned a room that was occupied - upon opening the door there were people sitting there -- awkward.
There is a couch in the hallway - the 1st day we were here someone used it for their cell and business area. The second night someone unfolded it into a bed and slept in the hall outside of the elevators. That just seemed creepy.
If you want to get sleep you must demand a top floor room as anyone above you will keep you awake.
The maid service was non-existent so plan to take care of everything yourself.
This is not a resort - probably more inline with a super 8 next to a truck stop.
Given the location and the rest we will pass on this place in the future.

Room Tip: always demand a top floor if you require sleep
