Holly's place is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Lake Tahoe. The place is especially great for those who travel with pets, as it provides a large, open space for the dogs to run around.
We visited as part of a small wedding party, and it was our first stay at Lake Tahoe. The property is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and nestled in a camp ground area of South Lake Tahoe. It is about a 20 minute drive to Camp Richardson and to some nice hiking at Fallen Leaf Lake. Some of the hotel accomodations are attached units, and there are a couple of cabin suites. The property is ecclectic, as one would expect with most B&B's. Some of the decorations and electronics are a little dated, but I think it adds to the charm of the property overall.
The kitchen area is quite nice and spacious. (though a dishwasher would be nice).
If you are looking for 5 star amenities, fancy beddings, and flat screen TV;s, this isn't the place for you, and you will be disappointed. However, if you are looking to enjoy the Sierra Nevada Mountains, be right around the large pine trees, and sit around a camp fire at night time, this place might be the right one for you!More
