My wife, parents, their dog (shepherd) and our 2 children (4 and 5yrs) stayed in the 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom option.
The rooms were all very nicely appointed and the beds and futons were pretty comfortable. The rooms however are small and the yards/patios are really just there so a dog can go to the bathroom outside. There is no hanging out back there since the buildilng right behind you is a rundown motel / apartment.
We noted some minor damage upon our arrival and let the booking company know about it. They responded quickly offered to get it all fixed ASAP but we opted not to since we didn't want people in and out of there with the dog present.
If you're trying to stay here in an effort to enjoy Tahoe without spending a fortune eating out, it will be tricky if you're cooking for a family. The Inductive burners only work with their cookwear (we brought our big aluminum pot to make corned beef and that failed) but there isn't a dining table, oven or large fridge. so you could whip up some eggs in the morning or maybe get sandwich fixings but then you'll be eating a bit haphazardly thoughout the living room/dining room suite. Think camping cooking if you're bringing stuff.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a bit more than what a hotel offers in the way of kitchen/cook convenience. If you put 12 adults in this place you'll be tripping over yourselves the entire time.
The rental agency and onsite manager were very nice.
