My husband and his sister waited in the valet area of Harrah's, South Lake Tahoe valet area for 1 hour without any phone notification from this company (time to meet was 6:00am). My husband called me about a no show from the tour company. I looked at my emails from the day before the trip (Wednesday) and I had received a reminder about the trip which was the next day. The next email from them was sent at 12 am stating it was cancelled, "due to lack of interest", this was 6 hours before the trip was to pick them up and during the time most people would be sleeping. This would have been their 1st time to Yosemite which I have visited numerous times in the past and considered it a bucket list must do. The unfortunate thing is that my sister in-law lives in NC and we live in WI so the ability to just rebook for another date is not feasible. I am sure that they were very aware of how many guests booked this trip by Wednesday, they should have cancelled this on Wednesday when they knew about the "lack of interest" so my husband could have rented a car. I received an email about a refund which is peanuts when you take into consideration the cost of airfare that they will pay to return next year, when they will be renting a car. This tour only operates on Thursday's so you are taking a gamble that the tour will operate if you do not allow yourself enough time or options for car rental if they cancel. I would not recommend this company based on the inappropriate short notice of the tour cancellation sent only by an email during the middle of the night.
