The room we stayed in (Premium Lake Front Suite) was so nice. The view was amazing and the attention to detail in the bathroom was like nothing I've experienced before. We went to Jimmy's for the complimentary wine tasting and had the best time. It was fun and relaxed and yet they answered any questions we had and were very attentive. We will go back to Tahoe just to stay here again.

Room Tip: I asked for an upgrade and they gave me a very reasonable deal. It never hurts to ask, right?

Give this one to Trip Advisor not my travel agent. The reviews are right on the mark. This Lodge is newly owned and renovated with a quiet boutique style atmosphere. This is not a large property so it has it's benefits. We found the staff to be genuinely friendly, professional and attentive. Service was consistently top notch every day, lodging comfortable and decor updated lodge chic. Staff was always eager to assist in any request or outing plans. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Excellent bed and pillows, marble master bath with jet tub, steam shower and heated toilet seat will amaze. It will be hard to find another king suite like this one. (still talking about that seat!) Our patio opened up to spectacular lake views. Great location and right across the street from the Lake beach park. Situated on the actual state line and no road noise in our room. Walking distance from the Nevada casinos and Heavenly Village. But why bother when hotel shuttle can take you just about anywhere you need to go, just be sure to tip your driver. Terrific neighborhood area to get in a quick run/walk on your trip. Fitness center is well equipped and wow what a view. Did not visit the spa but will next time. Jimmy's restaurant located on the first floor with epic views of the lake is overpriced and disappointing. Service again was outstanding but not every dish was perfection. We expected more since no other shortcomings were found in the lodge. Dining concept (Greek fusion) is unique to the area and promising in its content. We will give it another try in the future. On the other hand, no need for improvement in the bar/wine category. Jacob was a terrific sommelier who engaged us in interesting and helpful conversation. He directed us to a fantastic wine that was the best part of the evening. Great place that can only get better. No Ritz crowd or Ritz attitude here. This is where I will stay on my next Tahoe trip!

Room Tip: Room 3032 is a great King suite outer unit with an extra large patio. Trees do get in the way of the...

This hotel was nothing short of fantastic! The staff were all exceptional, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, the Spa services were excellent, the location is right on the Lake, the restaurant has wonderful food- a perfect getaway!
We stayed 4 nights in April. We were welcomed by the concierge and given a welcome glass of champagne. Our room was just lovely with a fireplace, heated floors, jacuzzi tub, and balcony with a lovely view of the lake. So peaceful and relaxing- a great way to escape the city. The restaurant has the most amazing breakfast as well stunning views of the lake. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting they had as well. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. They all had wonderful suggestions on what activities were available. The spa is also not to be missed! Steam showers, massages, body wraps, facials- all of their services were top notch. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. It is a high end establishment and you will not be disappointed.

The high level of service is second to none. From the concierge to the managers, everyone was so genuinely warm and inviting. The location is magnificent, we were in the outdoor jacuzzi with a view of the slopes and pine trees when it started snowing and the staff brought us champagne! - so special. Managers/directors Anil and Suresh made our stay so memorable and took such good care of us, we are forever charmed by the beauty of The landing, it's not just superficial, it has a beautiful soul.

Fantastic hotel with well trained, exceptionally customer focused staff.

The rooms are stunning, beds comfortable with a beautiful fire place and great bathrooms.

Location wise the hotel is perfectly placed, right on the lake.

The only complaint i would have is that the restaurant is over priced for the food quality. They are obviously attempting a fine dining atmosphere but the food is very average. I am used to small servings coming from NZ but these were a joke. Again, the staff were incredible.

I will absolutely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Room Tip: I feel you will be well accommodated regardless of room

This place is fantastic! When you first drive up, it doesn't look like much, but inside its great. The decor is very well done, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms have so many great details and the food was fantastic. We stayed in a king room with a hot tub and a steam shower that plays music and has aromatherapy, I didn't want to leave! The staff was really friendly without being overbearing. I would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Go for the king premium with the fireplace and hot tub!

We loved our stay at the Landing. The hotel is tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious and quiet, the staff very friendly and very professional. The common areas are all clean and the location can't be beat. The shuttle service was a nice treat, too. We will definitely return and next time we will stay for dinner at their on-site restaurant, Jimmy's.
