Like some fellow guests has reported this place have to improve their service. On my visit the staff in the reception was impolite, rude and ignorant. That is above not being informative abouth the spa routines and other practical things.

One should bear in mind that this place is part of the Scandinavian Choice hotel chain, owned by a Norwegian multi millioner, we expect, and they should deliver, better service.

This is a Hotel with nice Japansese inspired rooms, not a spa, and definitely not a Japanese bath (Onsen) even if the web site and marketing tries to give you that impression. The hotel has some very nice rooms with separate baths in Japanese style and the restaurant has many interesting Japan-inspired dishes worth trying. The prices are high or very high and the delivered quality varies. The whole establishment give you an impression that it is built for very large conference groups, and maybe as a conference or group travel guest you would be better taken care of than as a couple. We were unfortunate to book a day when the baths and restaurants were filled with kids - not at all peaceful. Many things were far from what we expected, maybe because it was in the summer and they were working on re-constructing the premises. It has potential!

Room Tip: Double check what is included, compared to the presentation on the web site. Ask if all restaurants are open, if the whole spa is running and quiet etc.

Yasuragi is a quiet and relaxing spa hotel in Stockholm archipelago, 30 minutes taxi drive from city center. I stayed here for one night and spent 24 hours wearing only Japanese bathrobe yukata and slippers - even while having dinner.
Here you don't have to stress about how you look. You'll totally forget it.
Japanese bath is amazing, especially the hot pool outside in a forest.
The place is huge and it feels like a labyrinth. It takes awhile to get around the hotel and it almost require a navigator.
What they should improve is their service. When I checked in I was given my room key but they didn't explain anything: Where is the spa? The opening hours? What to wear? When and where breakfast is served?

Nice spa hotel with good food. The hotel is quite large and flat so it is quite a long distances to walk from room to spa department. Many fun activities to participate in (tea tasting, karate, yoga, etc.) and slippers, yukata and swimsuit free of charge to take home.

High quality location, though it's a bit pricey. The dining is excellent and the heated outdoor pools are very relaxing and quite a blast to be in when there is some snow around.

The facility itself could use some more work as there are huge slabs of concrete visible here and there.
