One night's stay to experience the Karpas Peninsula and the Blue Sea hotel. My friends & I received a warm welcome & were shown our rooms before signing the register. A fresh fish lunch, drinks and then swim down by the small beach followed by a wander round the pier and surrounding area. Many guests would find the Blue Sea tired & just not for them. My single room (Rm 5) had a double bed, ensuite shower and a balcony overlooking the sea. Simply furnished but I had a fabulous view, hot water and a decent bed. There is air conditioning if you stay in summer. Tasty dinner & substantial breakfast in the large quirky sitting/dining area. 170TL for lunch, wine, dinner & BB & friendly hosts. Would happily stay again for a night or two.

Last year was the 7th time we visited the blue sea hotel and we had another fantastic, relaxing, time. We will be back again this year because quite simply it is the best hotel on the Karpas by far. It is run by a lovely family who look after you in a genuine friendly way. If you go to the Karpas go to the BLUE SEA HOTEL.

Room Tip: ask the owner. He is very, very helpful.

Went there 9 years ago and it was cheap and cheerful, now its anything but cheap. We were charged for mezes we didn't ask for, water we didn't drink. Very friendly owner who kept filling our glasses with wine - we thought it was complimentary - it wasn't! Avoid room 6 for although we had hot water it was no good for cat swinging sessions! Won't go back there again

Just returned from our second stay. The location is great, the family are great, the state of the hotel is abysmal!! The decor is terrible inside the rooms, there was no hot water, cobwebs a grime all over the place, yet they still charge the full rate as everyone else locally. We checked out three other sites on the way back, all in Dipkarpaz and each were ten times better for the same cost. Sorry Blue Sea, but you need to get your act together before we return.

A peaceful location by a pretty harbour, and ideal for driving further up the Karpaz. The rooms are basic but do have comfortable clean beds, hot water, air conditioning and balconies overlooking the sea. But no wifi! Good wholesome meals and the delightful owner will chat over a brandy.

The blue sea hotel was very welcoming and friendly. It is perfectly placed for exploring the Karpaz. Dinner was good, although perhaps a little over priced. Breakfast was good and there was plenty. Very very basic facilities; interesting plumbing, but fine for 1 night

Room Tip: Our room was on a corner which was fine

Warm and cozy budget hotel with friendly staff and rooms facing the sea. The restaurant serves fresh fish and meat dishes. Breakfast is also quite rich, with vegetables, cheese, omelettes, olives, etc. We enjoyed the hotel's remote location on a small bay. At night we could hear no sound other than the sea waves. Perfect for stargazers!
