Karpaz, a destination you can't miss in Cyprus, has a few of hotels and Glaro Garden is by sure one of the best. The owner, Murat, and his sister will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Apartments are large, sort of little indipendent houses in a garden. Newly built, are basic but w/ everything (hot water..). Restaurant is a plus, dinner or breakfast you'll be delighted by a truely turkish cuisine ( if u want wine/beer ask before , they will go to town to buy for you). Yes, during the night you'll hear a lot of animals: rooster, donkey, dog...but after all you're in the heart of a little village and you'll feel that'sa part of the experience. I loved it!

A one night stay in early October so no problems with heat or mosquitoes. Rooms were pristine although the shower head was mysteriously detached from the wall of the shower cubicle making it pretty difficult to wash whilst holding the shower head up with one hand!! All aspects of catering were brilliant both at dinner and breakfast the following morning. Disturbances during the night from a distressed cow, various neighbourhood dogs and the early call of the rooster were not ideal but overall, this was a very peaceful and welcoming hotel.

We were happy to stay a weekend at this beautiful place. We enjoyed the ambience, the friendly staff and excellent food. Quiet and peaceful, and close to nature, we will certainly be returning customers. Seafood was delicious, and the seebreeze in the night hours outside window was a perfect frame to a remarkable stay.

Room Tip: Number 9 was the perfect place for us

6 friends together who had a great time but could not help noting the problems. first the great things. fab value for money. very clean. Food was brilliant. the fish for dinner was the best I have eaten in a long time and the breakfast was superb. At the end of the day this hotel is in the Karpaz. a forgotten and unspoilt corner of the world . The hotel reflects its location, being simple, natural and unspoilt. the negatives were mainly in the sleep quality. We were all exhausted next morning because of the noises throughout the night. the cow in distress owned by the hotel, the barking dogs, the tractors, the 5 am rooster etc. I would not want to judge this hotel like another as its charm is that it is not like any other but it is important to consider both sides before booking.

We were here in early September. We stayed here on the recommendation of our friends , they were here before us and they were very happy to choose this hotel . But our view on this are not the same . Maybe before it was very good , but I can't give an excellent rating for this place. This is a common turkish hotel , nothing special. Some places are dirty , shower in the room is not clean enough , opened package of toilet paper after previous clients ... The restaurant looked interesting, but it 's dirty, dry flowers , no clean tables , all as in many turkish restaurants . Yes, the food was tasty, it's true , but it is not enough for a great restaurant that we've heard about Glaro Garden and what I read here , too . It was difficult to talk with a woman who works there, she does not speak English, only 2-3 words , but the problem is not in it, we did not feel that she was thinking of her clients, she put the plates on the table with a view: when you have go away ... We did not see the heartful atmosphere, about which our friends spoke. Our friends told us about Olga , but we have not seen her . They had very good opinion about her , maybe when she was there, it was not the same as what we saw . With Murat we did not talk much, it looked, that he is very busy person who does not have enough time for the hotel , but he is trying to give attention to each client. For him to say, you need to have control over staff and monitor the cleanliness . Overall, this place is normal, similar to other hotels in the northern part of Cyprus , but not best.
