we stayed on the 14th October before a long flight and also when we arrived back at early hours of morning.sorry for the delay in this review but we are in the holiday buisness aswell.Which is why i feel i should make time to write this.
From the time we arrived and was offered fresh milk to the time we left i feel the attention to detail is excellent in this hotel. The airport transfer was brilliant and after a bad flight back the chap who picked us up even took our bags to our room for us at 1am in the morning thank you
Breakfast was great and more than enough to eat so did not order cooked breakfast.
We ate dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and well priced.
I have recommended this hotel to a few of our own customers and we will be back before the season kicks off again
ps lovely biscuits

Stayed here before a morning flight from Bristol Airport. It is a great discovery and I am sure we will use the hotel again. It is the little touches that impressed us.
1 We were shown personally to our room by the receptionist.
2 We were given fresh milk for our tea and coffee, without needing to ask.
3 There were home made cookies in our room.
4 The room was excellent - finished to a high standard with underfloor heating in the designer shower room.
5 Free wi-fi. At last an airport hotel that does not rip you off.
6 Free car parking - excellent.
7 It is very close to the airport and yet in a quiet rural location.

My husband and I booked a table at the Winford Hotel restaurant and ate here on a Saturday lunchtime in October. The drive through the countryside to get to the Hotel was lovely as was the weather.
The hotel is set within its own grounds and plenty of parking. We entered the hotel via the Reception and was shown immediately to the restaurant and asked where we would like to sit - this is always a nice touch and we opted to sit by the window to enjoy the views. The restaurant was half full when we were seated at 1.30pm.
Our drinks and food order where taken promptly - It was very difficult deciding as there were several options that we would have ordered - our waitress was very patient and came back a third time and took our orders.
Just the right amount of time between courses both of which were excellent - we couldnt manage a dessert but they too looked great - finished off with coffee.
There are plenty of seats outside and as it was such a lovely day we enjoyed our coffee taking in the peace and quiet and watching the resident chickens. If the weather is not so good there is a large seating area near the reception with its own bar where you can relax and have coffee/tea.
A lot of the food served in the restaurant is grown on site or locally sourced.
We will definitely be back for either lunch or evening meal

Room Tip: We only ate at the restaurant

We had a lunch using a Travelzoo offer - but before we had finished the first course we were preparing to return. All the food and drink was excellent, the location and hospitality was superb.
We will be back.

After spending most of the day trying to get to Bristol Airport after the M5 was blocked both ways I decided to stay near Bristol as I was told the motorway would be closed again the following day due to the damage and tarmac repairs.

Found this hotel after driving from the airport to Bristol and saw the sign saying hotel 1.5 miles.

Great place. Good value and very attentive staff in this multi award winning hotel. Chickens (Bantams) running around the extensive grounds along with ducks and of course Winnie the standard poodle who is not at all spoiled. Yeah right.

Rooms are very adequate and flat screen TV and free wi-fi which is very fast. Walk in shower.

Had a late lunch of chicken (free range of course). Very tasty. The service was excellent too.

Dinner in the Labyrinth Restaurant was a 31 day dry aged 8oz ribeye steak for less than £20.00t hat was just melt in your mouth brilliant. ALL the ingredients on the menu are locally sourced mostly within 2 miles! Now that is local. They also have a well stocked bar and the wine is reasonably priced. Bread is home made and they have proper butter not this unsalted stuff.

Next time I try to drive for hours to Bristol Airport I will just book here and use their service to and fro the Airport. £3.50 each way.

Many other things to consider, they are very green here. Everything is recycled. Herbs are growing in the garden along with vegetables.

Plenty of CCTV parking. Good value. Brilliant caring staff that smile and look happy.

It was great to walk around the garden and hear the owls all around in the evening.

Definitely be back here again.

Don't expect quality dining or 5 star service because this is not the Hotel.

Its a great Hotel for staying over if flying from Bristol, leave your car, take a transfer and then on your return call to be collected from Bristol Airport.

The staff are great, the service is exceptional and we would stay here again, the rooms are spotless and clean with everything you need.

We are food snobs so the food was not excellent but it was good enough for a stop over and the staff were really lovey, the grounds were also nice for a stroll, we loved the ducks and of course we met Winnie the dog who was a complete diva - we would recommend this hotel for a park and stay with very good service and value for money.

We stayed here for one night due to our early (6am!) flight from Bristol. The food was great, best steak I have eaten for ages. Breakfast was seved at 3.30am and taken to airport in time for our flight. I can't recommend this hotel enough, it was great.

Room Tip: All rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. No need to worry about a thing.
