Having spent a few days here with friends in a second lodge, I can highly recommend the accommodation. It was spacious, clean and comfortable, with many of the lodges having a great view of the countryside. The grounds are well kept and the there is a one-way system round the complex for vehicles. Each lodge has parking for one vehicle right outside the lodge. The reception is open for 12 hours a day with friendly helpful staff. There is also a swimming pool and a gym and WiFi is free in the sitting area at reception, which is a bonus.
There are just one or two things to be aware of. There is no bar or restaurant on site and when we were there the restaurant at the golf club was also closed. You will need a car to travel to surrounding towns for restaurants or there is a Co-op not too far away in Dailly where you can buy food to cook yourself. One other warning, watch the road surface on Golf Course Road on the approach to the site. Either there has been a recent sale of potholes or the road has not been resurfaced for some time and desperately need doing.
I had considered giving this a four star rating due to the lack of a restaurant and bar, however, that would not reflect the comfort of the lodges and facilities, other than swimming pool and gym are not included in the list below. I have therefore marked it solely on the accommodation aspect of it of the resort.
The telling question is would we go back. Without a doubt, it is clean and comfortable and is ideal for visiting Ayr and the surrounding area.

We have just returned from our first visit to Brunston and we would go again. We had a 3 bedroom cottage (no 21) it was very well furnished with plenty of towels, pillows etc, a starter kit of dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee and sugar are given along with 2 tea towels, washing up liquid and cif, the kitchen had a dishwasher and a washer/dry (small tip dont put them on at night as they are noisy). There is a co-op in the village for shopping and a small cafe if you fancy a cooked breakfast. On site there is a lovely pool, pitch and putt and a very small gym. Oh and the fish and chip van calls at the site twice a week. Yes it is quiet, but there are loads of lovely trails in and around dailly, we like the ones in Barr. Can recommend China moon in Girvan and Kings Arms in Barr. Culzean castle was a great day out and a trip to Ayr is a nice change. From may a steam boat does trips from Girvan

This is our second visit and decided this time to fly to Glasgow and hire a car, which is essential for this site and area and it worked very well.
Our 3 bedroom lodge was spacious , spotlessly clean and well equipped. The Seasons staff were efficient and very welcoming as usual.
We appreciated the peacefulness and beauty of the area with all the signs of spring , daffodils abounding and lots of birdsong.
Unfortunately the restaurant at the Golf club was closed , but we discovered plenty of eating places around ( suggested in the lodge information book, complete with menus ) and we received excellent Scottish hospitality.
Colzean Castle was well worth a visit, and we also ventured right down to Scotland's southernmost point to the Mull of Galloway RSPB reserve, which incorporated the lovely coastal drive down to Stranraer.
The grounds at Brunston are immaculately kept , though the approach road is still requiring a long awaited resurfacing!!
We left wanting to make a return visit in the near future, which is always a good sign, and have already recommended this resort to our friends.

Not surprised to read that reading other reviews people have visited fit the tenth time!
Customer service was excellent from the point of booking, we revived a phone call from Seasons to thank us for the booking etc and give us info for arrival. When we arrived we were met by friendly efficient reception staff and to find out we had also been put in a lodge right opposite out friends who had booked seperatley as requested.
The lodges are a great size, ours was a 3 bedroom. Open plan kitchen/dining/living room, doors out to good sized decking with table and chairs. Ours was exceptionally clean, decor is up to date and very tasteful, blackout curtains which is a bonus having 3 children! Plenty room in each room of the lodge. We had 4 adults and 5 children in for tea/drinks etc and there was plenty room for all of us.
Lots of info on local area, take away/restaurant menus. Only downside I would say is you have to travel a bit of a distance for days out etc. 40 minutes to Ayr from the site. When we go again we will do shopping before we get there as local shops are small and restricted on products.
Pool was a good size and week heated. Sauna excellent aswell. They have splash sessions which we unfortunately missed but when asking about one at reception another one was put on.
Kids enjoyed and Easter egg treasure hunt that was put on aswell.
Family of 5, kids are 7, 5 and 2. Stayed Mon to Fri in Easter holidays.
Will definitely return at some point!

we had a wonderful 5 day break here recently. The accommodation was excellent, and a delight to come back to after a day walking and touring this hidden gem that is south Ayrshire and Galloway. 3 good sized rooms were well equipped and cosy. The only negative comment we would make is that the cooker could do with a bit of an upgrade, and the power in the shower could have been better, but otherwise, all was great. Staff at the reception area were friendly, organised and very helpful. The surrounds were well maintained. Overall 8 out 10 for this. The added benefit of the golf course was a bonus.

Room Tip: All apartments appear to be well situated. The large balcony got the sunshine throughout the day.
