“Seasons at Brunstone Castle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

As with all Seasons Holiday resorts, this one is very, very, good. Accommodation is in separate lodges, each with its own parking space, Lodges are clean and well equipped. Wifi is available in the Guest Lounge. A small supermarket is situated in the village of Dailly nearby. Many interesting locations in south-western Scotland are accessible from this site.

Room Tip: No comment.

This was our first time at brunston castle, and it will not be our last, after our week stay we didn't want to go home, we contacted interval international to try and get a second week, but unfortunately we had to leave it behind, the three bedroom bungalows, with two bathrooms are of high standards, we would be happy to live in them, the accommodation is so perfect, and so is the location, the staff are friendly and helpful, brunston castle is perfect in every way, you must visit this fantastic place, we cannot wait to go back.

I will start by mentioning the negatives about the resort, the pot holed entry road. Now onto the positives, Lovely staff always willing to help, lodges are a great size we were in no. 53 and it was 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 singles) with The kitchen was a little small but you were supplied with all you needed (6 place settings as well as glasses and cups) The fridge and freezer is massive so able to hold all you need as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are comfy enough even with back issues. We only used the pool and sauna the pool was a lovely temperature and not crowded the changing cubicles are a little on the small side though.

Room Tip: 53 was lovely but had no real views as its at the bottom of the valley but has recently been updated

Excellent golf club house with a wide variety of high quality meals and well maintained golf course attached to Brunston Castle Seasons resort. We also enjoyed the many and varied country walks in this beautiful scenic area It is conveniently situated close to Girvan and t Ayr both with extensive sandy beaches.

Just returned from Seasons at Brunston Castle. Have visited many times and have NEVER been disappointed with the high standard there. Cottages are well appointed with every amenity, Big lounge/dining area, good kitchen area with dishwasher and washing machine + 3 bedrooms. Reception staff are all extremely courteous and helpful and grounds are immaculately kept. Beautiful indoor pool and small gym. Restaurant 'Dine' has just opened next door at the Golf Club. Ate there several times and this is a great facility. All this + Scotland's wonderful scenery and hospitality. Can I say more?!

We have just returned from Brunston Castle, Our first trip there. Staff were welcoming, Lodge was splendid. 3 good size bedrooms, larger lounge/dinning room. Good sized Kitchen. As anticipated what was on site was good, however if you are anticipating active social activities you may be disappointed. Pool is a good size and a nice temperature.

The guided walks were very informative and Ron, the guide, is a great character who knows everything about the area.

The Golf Club restaurant opened on the Thursday of our visit. The meals are very competitively priced and the settings are of good quality with fantastic views over the golf course to the surrounding hills.

Once you have negotiated the pot-holed and bumpy entrance road, the resort and units are all very good. Clean, good condition and comfortable. The restaurant had re-opened the week we visited, but we didn't try it. We can recommend the 'Wildings' restaurant in Maidens (just north of Turnberry) - it is first class and not too expensive (£20 for two courses).

Room Tip: All the units will have a good view
