Dont be fooled by the photos! The bathroom is shared between all the rooms (no ensuite, when you're paying hotel prices) The enamel on the bath was peeling. getting your toothbrush under the tap was a close fit. There was no handle on the pull chain to flush the toilet, the toilet seat was broken. The breakfast was inedible. (the sausages were fatty, the beans were not Heinz, the yogurt was sainsburys branded and one was a "Happy Shopper 39p"! everything is extremely cheap. Please do not stay here - avoid disapointment. I couldnt wait to leave. I hate leaving this much negative feedback, but feel it is both fair and deserved. Parking!! They had no parking! - you have to park 5 mins walk away! I only wish I had taken photos to demonstrate.

Firstly we booked 2 double rooms with en-suites, and ended up with 1 twin bedded room with no en-suite (on york race day). The T.V didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The staff seemed hungover whilst serving the breakfast, which was edible although luke warm. The price quoted for the double room with en-suite was applied to the twin bedded with no en-suite. Very unhappy with the all the dealings that we had with this B & B.

it is situated in a very open area. It is very peaceful with lots of greenary. I had a lovely stay. Def recommend it to others.
