“Superb, what more can we say”
We had a fantastic week in this lovely cottage with our dog. Paul and Julia were very accommodating, letting us help ourselves to their lovely fresh vegetables direct from their allotment. Julia also kindly looked after our dog one afternoon when we went to visit a local house and garden.
The woods that they own are suberb and very secure. Maggie had a wonderful time scampering around with her new best friend Welly. She also became very pally with their other dog Ghilie. We will definitely be putting The Byre on our list to return.

Wellie and Ghilly will be delighted to see Maggie again....and given any opportunity.... steal her dinner! We are enjoying glorious Autumn colours in our woods,so September/October are good months to visit.

“Home away from home”
This whas our third stay at the Byre and once again it was fantastic. Julia and Paul are always willing to help you to find places to go to, where to find the best tearoom or a good pub. Special thanks for letting us eat so many vegetables and fruits from your garden, i never new that broadbeans could taste so delicious! Our dog Paddy had the best time ever with Wellie, they have worn eachother out every single day. The Byre is very well equiped, the bed is the best one i have ever encounterd in any cottage, as i am 1.92 meters that is a challenge. The Byre is situated in a very quiet area but a Sanesbury's superstore and a Tesco's superstore are only 10 minutes away, for good meat the's Archers' in Westfield.
