Wonderful fresh food. The large Yorkshire puddings were yummy (but so were the small ones too!!). The hotess and locals were very friendly.
We sat outside and watched the goats. As an avid reader of everything I learned all about the local battle site too (and the re-enactments).
I wont bother stopping at Wetherb Services again when this is just a few minutes away from the motorway - so will be back!!

Another great meal, quality food and portions sizes just right. Staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Really warm relaxed friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Tried it out for the first and last time yesterday. Asked for their special "Pensioners meal". What arrived was an absolute disgrace ! Steak pie ie 4 cubes of cheap meat in a small amount of gravy and 6 raw potato wedges with 2 spoonfuls of watery veg served on a tea plate. My husband faired no better with fish and chips. The fish was so small it must have been a goldfish, the wedges were raw and the teaspoon of mushy peas was just green water.
No wonder they knocked off the price of one meal when we complained.
Our advice give it a miss.
