Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights and we loved every minute.

The bungalow was great and we had a fan which allowed us to have a good nights sleep.

The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home and the food is really good ($3-7 per meal).

We really enjoyed chilling by their private beach and also walking to lonely beach (about 20 min). Pool table was fab, wifi was reliable in the restaurant and there is also a volleyball/badminton area.

Just make sure that you book the boat with palm beach and nowhere else. They have a private boat ($25 return) and other companies don't go here.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, cant wait to return in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonder stay! We had been travelling around Cambodia, visiting all the tourists hotspots and so were super excited to finally be heading towards the beach.

We picked this place as it had a great location, its own ferry and within our budget... It sounded to good to be true, but fortunately for us it wasn't!!!

Now, the bungalows are basic, but that's what we loved!! They were plenty big enough for two people, own little balcony complete with hammock, sea view (even though the ones we booked weren't advertised as sea view, so super lucky). Fan was strong enough so you didn't get too hot and the shower did a great job at cooling you down when the power generator was being maintained in the morning.

There isn't wifi in the bungalows, just the restaurant, which was fine by us. Gave us access to the Internet so we could plan the rest of our trip but also gave us a reason to shut off from the world.

The staff are fantastic! We were greeted by the wonderful Michelle, who made us feel completely at home. Her husband reached English to the local children and some of the staff which was lovely to see. The restaurant/bar/social area, is a great place to meet other travellers and exchange stories and also has a pool table, dart board, board games and books. The food ranges between 3 and 6/7 dollars so not expensive, and beer is 1.50, more expensive than the mainland but not gunna break the bank! They offer a great snorkelling trip, where you can explore some coral areas, learn to fish 'like the locals', watch the sunset and swim with fluorescent plankton, well worth the money!

Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a break from the crazy tourist world, or their busy lives and just bring it back to basics.

I stayed at the Palm Beach Resort with my boyfriend for 4 nights and we had an amazing time! One of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

The staff are all lovely and extremely helpful, and I have never stayed anywhere quite like it!

The food is nice and reasonably priced, same for the drinks. The island is full of lots of cute cats and dogs also!

It was my birthday during my stay which was a great experience and a birthday to remember for sure.

I would love to return in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had such a great time. After travelling South East Asia for 2 months, this has genuinely been one of the highlights of the trip.

The bungalows are nice. They're basic but at the price per night, you can't complain. Beds are comfy and there's a mosquito net. Our bungalow had a cat and her 2 kittens that liked to sleep in one of the chairs on our porch! I love cats and dogs so this island was perfect but there are a lot of them so it's maybe not for everyone.

The beach itself was lovely. Plenty of sun loungers and hammocks around. Free use of snorkel equipment and kayaks and you can play volleyball or badminton. There's an abundance of books and board games and a pool table in the restaurant.

Go swimming when it gets dark and you will see all of the plankton light up, it's stunning! Beware of rocks and sea urchins though, the sand flies can be annoying as well so bring plenty of insect repellent. The sunset at night is also gorgeous.

Great opportunity to meet people, the staff themselves are so friendly. Michelle in particular was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.

Thanks again for a great stay!

It wasn't until the morning of our travel when we were informed that the resort runs its own private ferry from Sihanoukville direct to the resort. Unfortunately we had already booked our ferry into Koh Rong's main pier and had to swallow the $35 cost of a taxi boat to the resort located on the other side of the island (duration 1hr). Just as a heads up, book the ferry through the resort to save yourself hassle! Other than this, we had an amazing time and didn't want to leave this secluded part of Koh Rong island. We initially booked for 2 nights, but ended up extending to 5. Don't expect anything fancy, this is island living in its true form but this is what makes this place great. A special thank you to Michelle and her husband (helping the owners), who were very accommodating and made us feel at home. We had an issue with our toilet on one day and they got up to the room and fixed it in no time, this is how dedicated they are to every guest having the best time possible. The water is crystal clear and you can walk out as far as the eye can see. Food is decent and can't go wrong with a $1 ice cold draft beer! Also free kayaks and snorkels to use.
