This is one of my favourite spots on Jersey and is equally beautiful at any time of year regardless of whether the tide is in or out.
For the 6 months of the summer timetable its well served by buses in terms of both frequency and routes so, if you're up for it, you can walk the 12 or so miles from St Aubin, 10 from Corbiere or 4.5 from L'Etacq and get a bus back to your starting point.
Its well catered for in terms of places to eat - sitting outside Colleens under the protective netting that keeps the pesky seagulls at bay, is my personal favourite. There's plentiful free parking and the public loos are always clean.
If you're up for a short, steep walk - take the coastal path behind the Prince of Wales and as the gradient levels out there's a bench where you can get your breath back and enjoy the wonderful view down over the beach. Its a view I never tire of seeing and it always makes me thankful to be alive!
