My wife and I are here last weekend and we had a truly great time. The owner was utterly charming & gave us a warm welcome. The rest of the staff were friendly & very helpful & provided a super service. The food was freshly prepared, simply delicious and great value. We were so impressed we went back for afternoon tea the next day with my parents. The cakes were homemade and better than anything Mary Berry could rustle up! I cannot recommend this cafe highly enough.

Colleens Cafe is popular with both locals and visitors. Offers a wide range of food and drinks including a great all day breakfast, selection of breakfast rolls, sandwiches, various main meals, salads, cakes and scones, hot and cold drinks and a wine list. Generous portions and efficient, friendly service. There is additional seating outside. Greve de Lecq beach is opposite and a stroll on this beautiful beach, before or after a visit to Colleens, adds to the enjoyment. Parking near the cafe can be difficult at times but there is a large public car park nearby. The Moulin de Lecq and Prince of Wales pubs are both close by and also worth a visit.

Perhaps no one has reviewed this for Trip Advisor. It is certainly off the beaten track and is a hidden gem. The cafe/restaurant is unpretentious and sits overlooking a beautiful beach with golden sands and an enclosed bay. Sometimes the rollers provide a surfing opportunity but the beach is very safe and inviting. On a clear day you can see France (if that is what you like).

This is not a high class restaurant/cafe, but it provides wonderful if plain food, cooked to order. The breakfasts are great, the bowl of porridge is huge and inviting and wonderfully tasty. The menu is inviting for all the rest of the day and the service (book at the counter) is friendly and excellent. In the summer there is opportunity to sit outside of course and take in the beauty of it all.

Nearby is an old army barracks(National Trust) not open when we visited in winter, but probably an interesting opportunity to taste a bit more of Jersey's history.

We would love to go back when it is warm and sunny, bask on the beach, walk round the cliffs and sit in Colleen's with whatever takes your fancy. Try it!

This café can't be beat for quality & choice, best breakfast in Jersey. The sandwiches are delicious & the is a great choice of fresh main meals. The staff are very friendly & attentive, it is the place to go if your local & the holiday makers have the extra treat of a beautiful bay with clean sands.
