Visited here the beginning of July 2014, it was a baking hot day but unfortunately the tide was in, the cafe was very clean and the food was excellent and very fresh. Toilets on site were spotless!

Went for lunch today, 45 minute wait for a ham sandwich. It claimed it was hand cut ham, with Indian chutney. Hand cut with machine and picalilli more like. Staff were unfriendly.

we are very sorry to hear of your recent disappointment. The day in question was one of our busiest days serving in excess of 300 meals between 9am to 3.30pm. I investigated the timings and the timings did not exceed 30 minutes from point of order. We quote 45 minutes as a maximum waiting time on such days.
The ham we use is premium brand and all our relishes are home made. Hopefully you can revisit ourselves and I will ensure you receive the best levels of service.

Came down with my family for lunch today (and then beach) and the food was very good! They have a wide variety of choice and we didn't have to wait too long for food even though it was during a busy lunch period! Waited 25-30 minutes max for our food and was worth it! The service was also very good and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

To be fair, we did arrive for afternoon tea at 4.30 and were the only people there. The home baking was lovely but I did feel like we were being an inconvenience and that the staff could have been more welcoming despite our late arrival. Still, a visit is worth it for the stunning view and the food.

Thank Norma I
