lovely flat beach with soft sand, also has lifeguards, and surfing, quite a walk to the sea when the tide is out with beautiful sunsets in the evening

Although obviously a beach for surfing and water sports we enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach. Strong currents but lifeguards were on duty

Best beach, loads of space, a good buzz about the place, and a great place to watch the sun go down on a summer's evening.

We walked every morning from St Brelades Bay around a little rock formation (Groyne) to Ouaisne Bay Beach ... a mile or so of clean, golden sand ... nothing but beach until you reach the end where there is a little cafe ... manned by delightfully grumpy ladies(imagine NY coffee shop staff!!!) who offer a decent cooked breakfast and coffee ... this is a wonderful beach to pitch up for a picnic or fun get together with friends ... there is a CAMRA pub up the hill which offers food... public loos & car park near cafe.

St Ouen's Bay is beautiful in sunshine and fascinating when the weather is stormy. There is so much to do and see. There are historical places of interest including towers and Occupation bunkers and The Jersey Pearl and other tourist attractions are at the Northern end.
As for the beach, it is clean and sandy and you can walk, surf, swim, paddle or just watch the surfers. There are plenty of cafes to choose from and a number of ice cream vans with Jersey Soft ice cream. Worth several visits!
