We skipped lunch and were starving when we arrived. We ordered salt and pepper squid and seared scallops as starters, and when they arrived, we knew we were in for an evening of tasty dishes! Our mains were lamp shanks and grilled lamb. The lamb shanks were tender and flavorful; the grilled lamb, medium rare, was cooked perfectly. With roasted potatoes and green beans, the meal was heavenly. The hospitality and music had a distinctively Turkish flavor (many of the dishes on the menu were Mediterranean/Turkish), and we appreciated the blend of two cultures on one menu! Platter is not in the center of town, so it's a welcome peaceful oasis looking out on the harbor. We loved every minute of our time there.
