“A hidden gem! ”

Just home after a fabulous long weekend stay at Courtyard Creamery!!

Where do I start? From the time of booking way back in September Jane had been very prompt answering any questions we had and confirming our payments had been received. She sent us an email the day of arrival with great directions.

As soon as we arrived we felt at 'Home' in fact it was better than home!! There was everything we could have wanted and more. The home made chocolate brownies were a lovely touch.

Jane gave us time to settle in then popped to make sure we were ok. Which we were. She gave us information about walks we could go on. There was lots of information about walks, where to eat and drink and general local information in the cottage.

After a fabulous nights sleep (the bed and the pillows were soooo comfy!) we awoke to see the sheep in the field and the chickens wandering around.

After a very, very long walk a soak in the massive roll top bath was very welcome to ease those aching muscles!

We couldn't fault our stay and could have stayed longer. We're already talking about our next trip!!

Thank you Jane and Richard for making our stay so perfect!

See you soon
Andrea and Shaun x

“Just beautiful.....”
Reviewed 20 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We were in real need of a few day's away to unwind, and we found the perfect retreat!

'Courtyard Creamery' is simply stunning, from the beautiful spacious accomodation to the uninterrupted views of Derbyshire. A field of sheep was our view out of the kitchen window and cute hens who came to our front door☕. The bed was so comfy and the roll top bath luxurious. Jane our lovely host had thought of all the little luxuries, including delicious brownies on our arrival. We were so taken with the coffee machine, that we ordered one while we we there! ☕☕

I have never been anywhere and heard complete silence, it was remarkable! We were really away from all the hustle and bustle, in a beautiful haven.

We hope to return in the next few months for another relaxing break.

If you are looking for luxury accomodation, in a stunning location, with a lovely host, then look no further than 'Courtyard Creamery'

We will be back very soon Jane xxxx

We enjoyed the wonderful views, comfortable sofa and bed, the lovely bath, toiletries, brownies, well equipped kitchen, and the warmth of this beautiful spacious place, we could not have wished for more and hope to return sometime to explore more of the local area which has some stunning scenery.

“Fantastic stay”
Reviewed 31 December 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Courtyard Creamery, the accommodation is gorgeous and done to a very high standard. The countryside views are beautiful and the hosts provided everything we could have wanted for our stay, and were helpful and friendly throughout. Enjoyed trying out the tennis court! It is a great location for walking in the Peak District and visiting nearby towns and villages, or just relaxing at the cottage. Would definitely return!

“Wish we had booked for longer!”
Reviewed 4 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

We wanted to get away somewhere quiet and rural with a homely touch and we found it here at the Courtyard Creamery.

Stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful accommodation, well stocked kitchen, games and DVDs. Comfortable and luxurious bedroom and bathroom. Chickens and cat greeting us each day when we went out which was lovely. Amazing view and great place to go for walks. Look forward to coming again.

“Excellent home from home, wonderful location.”
Reviewed 11 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We stayed at the Courtyard Creamery for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is located close to the owners farm house but is not overlooked. The views from the property are wonderful and it is incredibly peaceful, we slept really well as it was so quiet and the bed was very comfortable. There is a definite wow factor when you walk in with the high ceilings and modern feel whilst retaining original features. The owner has added extra touches to make you feel at home such as providing fluffy towels and slippers, tea, coffee, DVDs and greeting us with home made chocolate brownies. Great location for walking in the Peak District and visiting Chatsworth House. I would recommend staying here and would definitely return.
