“Decent place in town with beautiful, historic baths”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Positive:
- free wifi
- in centre of city, but in quiet cul-de-sac
- clean, comfortable room but not large
- decent food and the chef gave me a steak when I explained that I needed something gluten free from the buffet (Thank you, again.)
- view from balcony, if in a room in the front
- beautiful and historic Turkish baths.

Negative:
- no aircon on - so had to have balcony door open to noise.

The hotel is nicely located in the centre of Bursa; the staff are friendly; the rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The bathrooms are very clean and well furnished.

A couple of minor problems: the rooms are best described as cosy and the hotel has no bar!

The food in the hotel is of decent quality and the breakfast particularly good with plenty of choice, although the coffee could be better!

One thing to watch out for - the drinks prices are extortionate. For example, a 300ml bottle of water costs TL8.50 (about £2.80), at the supermarket a litre will cost TL0.55 (about 16p).

We're lucky that we stayed only for 1 night there..
We were 6 and took 3 rooms in the first floor.
When we arrived, the lobby is very small with no AC. It was full since there was another group leaving. The smell of the first floor was stinky as if you were in the middle of the kitchen.
The AC in one of the rooms didn't work and it was fxed temporarely.
Although the rooms were spacious but the blancket was not new. We found some hairs on the bed. Our friend found a big stain showing the bed was wet. They came and changed it.
Bed was so hard that we all had back pain next morning.
One of the worst things that there was another group stayed in the same floor with children running all the time and a family openned the opposite doors and started talking and shouting from one room t the other
The water in the shower don't empty quickly so your feet will be covered with water. Also there was leakage in all if our rooms from the shower to the floor of the bathroom. The pipes of the upstairs bathrooms seems to end behind the wall of our bathroom so you hear every time they flush water.
Dinner was awful so we went out to eat.
Breakfast was regular with no coffee, no bread. It took them 15 min to bring more.
The best 2 things of this hotel is the location since it's in a very central area and the spacious rooms ( with all the problems of the bed and bathroons)

We chose the hotel for it's central location, and what a location it is!!! It's literally a few steps away from the metro station (I believe it was Shehrekutsu) and a great starting point for exploring the old city of Bursa.
We made an online booking and requested a high floor room, upon arrival we were given a well decorated, spacious room at the 5th floor. We arrived there exhausted and in need for a good shower and a nap, A/C in the room worked just fine, good shower, curtains blocked the sun completely and the bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. with the windows closed had no problem with the heavy traffic outside.
At breakfast time, we were a bit confused, as we entered the dining area and found it absolutely empty. Then a nice guy, with good english appeared from the kitchen and offered us a seat, then filled up the table with bread, olive oil, plate of cheese, olives n vegetables, and asked how would we like our eggs, within a few minutes, a good omelette with cheese was served on the table.

Hotel highly recommended!

We stayed one night as part of a tour group. The room we had was extremely small and dark. The air conditioner did not cool the room as it was situated behind the curtains. If the curtains had been opened we would have had a bright light shining in the room during the night. There was a musty odour in the hallways, however this hotel was adequate for a one night stay. The buffet dinner was very good with a wide and varied selection of food. Breakfast was satisfactory

Ive spent one night here. The hotel is nice, eventhough it doesnt look like a 4 star hotel. When I was there last month, it was under renovation. I stayed in a triple room in the sixth floor. It was new, clean and comfortable as it is just undergone a renovation.

The dinner and breakfast buffet was good with limited selections.

Location of the hotel is very strategic, I can easily walk around the Bursa town.

The only complaint I have is the elevator. Somehow it doesnt work properly. Sometimes it will stuck at certain floors.

This hotel looks very nice but I was really disappointed with their service. One good point about this is the location right in the city centre if that's where you want to be.
We asked for an extra bed which they charged 35 euros but was just 2 mattresses

Had a nightmare experience here. We checked in at about 4 pm. . Went straight out. Came back 3 hours later and bathroom was flooded and the bedroom carpet also got wet. Told the hotel guy they sent a cleaner who said it was my fault because I had a shower with the door open. But he cleaned it up with the towels that were there and left the towels in the bathroom. Went to sleep and woke up at 6 am. Bathroom was flooded again. The phone was not working so couldn't ring reception. Went down and told reception. He said hell send someone. He did same thing and left towels there. After he went I realised there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling which would suddenly start to pour out. So I went to reception again and he told me because we're checking out today he can't do anything. He said theyll send a technical support after 8 am. I asked to speak to manager and he wasn't there until 10. So when he came he said he couldn't do anything because if he gave us a discount the guy at the reception would have to pay for it because it was his fault! He took the full amount and was quite happy to accept a bad review for the hotel. Luckily we had booked another room in the same hotel so we could share their bathroom. But this did ruin our bursa trip as I had to go out wearing wet socks because of the soaked carpets!
