“Great Place to Stay - if you are overnighting for a cruise”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

We needed to stay one night in Vancouver for an upcoming cruise. This place fit our families needs perfectly. The location is about 15 minutes from the pier. The staff is very helpful. More importantly, this venue offers a shuttle to the pier. That is a big deal to us in that we had to just tip the driver for the ride instead of paying for a taxi.

Small pillows - but it was just one night.

I had been concerned abotu one trip advisor remark of bugs however it was clean clean clean. comfortable and quiet although close to airport. had wifi but soemtimes a little interrupted. good breakfast and a bright cheerie dining room.
the hotel does nto have a lot around it except a Costco right across the street. also a husky where one can buy soft drinks and snacks. I understand there was a pub across the street at another hotel,, but i never tried it. as i say good location at a great price for 1 night adn not at downtown prices. if we had wanted to go downtown there was the train about 2 km from the hotel. taxi to the cruise terminal form this hotel was $35.00

Room Tip: daced front of hotel and was very quiet

I stayed for just one night awaiting a connecting flight from Vancouver airport. Conveniently close to the airport and skyline train station.
Room clean and spacious but tea making facilities in the bathroom, which I found a little unhygienic.
No restaurant on site so I made the short walk along side the dual carriageway to The Sandman hotel where I found Moxies Bar & Grill.
A quiet nights sleep but nothing special to make me want to stay there again.

Thank you for your feedback. We take our guest comments very seriously and always strive to provide comfortable and friendly accommodations. We appreciate that you find our location to be convenient.

However, We’re sorry we fell below your expectation regarding the tea making facilities in the bathroom. We will address this point. I understand the discomfort this caused you. Again, I do apologize and regret that this impacted your experience at our hotel. We hope you give us a chance in the future to show you how great our hotel is.

We drove up here from Seattle, stayed overnight, and parked while on our week long cruise. Very easy to locate. The hotel was safe, clean, and offered a good breakfast. There is a subway, "sky train", located about 4 blocks away. We walked over, and took the 25 minute right to the waterfront for dinner. It was an easy way to get downtown. Costco is right across from the hotel as well. Shuttle took us to the cruise port. This was a good stop for us coming quickly in and out of Vancouver.

Vancouver Hotels are pretty pricey, and this place gave us so much for our money! We were going on a cruise to Alaska, so the free airport shuttle was a must. Check in was smooth and Eric was very helpful telling us where we could walk to for dinner, where we go for the Skytrain and places we might want to visit. Our room was very spacious, supremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample with hot and cold choices. There was plenty of seating - and it was all used! The young ladies taking care of the breakfast area were constantly working to keep the food out and clean up the tables. This seemed to be a fairly full hotel on a Sunday night/Monday morning. Vancouver is a beautiful city. We walked a lot! We took the Skytrain and bus. Always felt safe. Had difficulty with our phones working in Canada, but fortunately we do not have to be connected all the time. Queen Elizabeth Park was a smaller park in the city, and it was lovely. Departure day we rolled our bags to the train station and rode to the port station. A three block walk got us to the terminal. Next stop, Alaska.

Room Tip: It stays light longer in Vancouver this time of year...and the sun rises earlier, so pick east side...

I brought a high school group at the end of May/beginning of June and we booked 6 rooms for 3 nights. The front desk, management and service people were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for 4 students per room (each room had 2 queen beds).

The hot breakfast was convenient and well maintained. The fitness centre was great and used by a number of my students. When we asked, the front desk gave us free passes to Richmond Rec. Centre pools. The hotel allowed us to use their breakfast room tv to hook up a Wii and we also used their breakfast room as a meeting place when breakfast wasn't being served. Each room had free Wi-Fi and free gated parking was included.

There is a Tim Horton's and Moxie's close by and it was about a 10 minute walk to the nearest SkyTrain station.

We had a great experience and have no complaints.

The front desk people made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. Hotel was very clean, room was spacious, comfortable bed. Breakfast was hectic everyone jammed in there at the same time and the food kept running out but things like that happen. Shuttle to the airport a huge plus. Great stay would stay again
