Wonderful place to spend the day - coffee, food, books, cool little stores, historic buildings and tourist areas .... great place to eat, walk, tour. ... just be.

We enjoy lunch at restaurant where have view with harbour in sunny day, and then walk around and buy some fish for dinner.

“The way it used to be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

There is always something different here to see. Sometimes just swans and fish and chips, other times there are bustling sales of fish directly off the boats. Usually fish sales are only on Saturday and Sunday though. You will find countless coffee shops and on a hot day everyone seems to have an ice cream cone. The merchants are mostly mom and pop operations except for Starbucks. It is a very pleasant place to stroll and slow down.

“A little gem”

Steveston Heritage Fishing Village is a must see. It combines old world fishing charm with
modern living. Great little places to dine and take a relaxing walk along the boardwalk.

“Lots to do in Steveston”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

Located in the extreme south west corner of Richmond, BC Canada you will find lots to see and do here. Garry. Point park - walk around and view the seascapes, watch the kite flyers and breath in that fresh sea air. Dine in the great coffee shops and restaurants. Shop the plethora of interesting stores. Purchase fresh fish from the fish boats at the dock. Stroll the boardwalk. Go to the Cannery to see the history of the former fish cannery. Take a boat tour to see seals and whales. A most enjoyable day can be spent here, or longer as there is one hotel right in the village- Steveston Hotel.
