This cafe sits across the street from the port (not the main street of the village) where, if you are seated on the south side of the restaurant, you can watch people going down to the fish boats on the Steveston docks. For a reasonable price, the food is fresh and hearty. The portions are generous and the service is good as well.
The waitress was able to have a menu item modified to suit our dietary needs with no extra cost. We stayed quite a long time and were not hurried though the restaurant was full.
The decor could do with some simple updating - maybe just newer style of tablecloths?
