“Good food, good ambience, good service”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

This cafe sits across the street from the port (not the main street of the village) where, if you are seated on the south side of the restaurant, you can watch people going down to the fish boats on the Steveston docks. For a reasonable price, the food is fresh and hearty. The portions are generous and the service is good as well.
The waitress was able to have a menu item modified to suit our dietary needs with no extra cost. We stayed quite a long time and were not hurried though the restaurant was full.
The decor could do with some simple updating - maybe just newer style of tablecloths?

“AWFUL Staff”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

The hostess/ waitresses are extremely Rude! We arrived there with a stroller & saw at least 4 free tables. When asked about one that was in the corner the snotty waitress said there's no room. When we asked about the free table on the patio she also said no. As I left angrily another chubby red- headed waitress said dondecendingly " sorry about that honey!"...she didn't know what she had got herself into at that point. As I told off this snotty diva, she quickly realized she had made a big mistake. I then asked for the owner ( whom I absolutely do NOT believe was actually the owner) and all he said was that she never meant to be rude. Yeah right, first of all he didn't even hear what she said because he was too busy flipping burgers in the back. Also there's no way this timid little blonde guy who doesn't even speak the language is the owner. The staff here is horrible & rude avoid it it's better to go to kisamos or have fish & chips at the buck n ear!

“Good Food Good Service”

Great little cafe in Steveston. Staff are very friendly. The food is good, portions are good and the prices are reasonable. Great place to come on a sunny day and sit on the outside patio.

“Very friendly staff”
Reviewed 1 April 2013

The staff are very friendly here and nice however the food is not the best. The omelette was ok but not very tasty or good however, I like that they offer free range eggs and healthy options on their menus and for VERY affordable prices! I will give them another try.

“Small but has Good food and Value”
Reviewed 20 March 2013

What a nice little place up in Steveston, that seams to be packed all the time, I've gone there. The food is very good and great value for your dollar. The service is generally good. Been there also many times and enjoy it.
