Check in was quick and easy. The room was very modern and clean. Comfortable bed. There was not much of a view of the mountains on the mountain view side of the hotel. We were on the fourth floor and could barely see the top of one mountain. The fitness facility was top notch. There was a real pool to do laps in. I will definitely recommend this hotel for business or a couple's stay.

Loved The Pinnacle - the spacious room had all the modern features promised, also loved the huge bathtub and the white terry-cloth robes. The view of the Vancouver harbour and high rises was fantastic, and the room service breakfast came promptly and was excellent. The desk staff was very helpful giving us sight-seeing tips, and the little ferry to downtown Vancouver is less than 5 minutes away, very convenient.
We'll definitely stay there again, when in the area!

Room Tip: We spent $ 30 extra for a harbour view room - it was well worth it!

We stayed here for 3 nights during our family vacation. We booked a mountain view room, but ended up with a harbour view room. The view of the harbour was awesome. Right across is Canada Place, and you can see the entire downtown and even Stanley Park. There is a crane that blocks part of your view but that didn't bother us. We arrived early around 11am. Our room wasn't ready, but we were able to get a room on the 4th floor instead. The room was very nice, clean and modern. We were provided a play pen for our son which came with his own set of towels and they even had shampoo, soap, etc for him. The fridge and coffee maker were in a good area with a nice sized counter top. The TV was a fuzzy, but when we ordered a movie it was clear. My wife didn't like the coffee in the room. The pool was nice. We used it a couple times. It is setup for lane swimming but we just went it and splashed around. The fitness center looked nice but we did not use it. The first day there we asked the concierge for a local place to go get sandwiches for lunch, he suggested Boston Pizza. We weren't to happy with that response. Another time we asked for a local place for pizza, he suggested Raven Pizza. It was excellent!
The market is a block away and we loved it there. Lots of different food vendors and options. The market is a good place for breakfast and lunch.
The hotel is really close to the sea bus (1 block) We used this twice and it was easy and convenient.
We went to Capilano Suspension Bridge which was only 10 minute drive from the hotel.
We took the sea bus and city bus to Granville Island which took about 30 minutes.

The parking garage was nice and well lit. There are 2 entrances to the parking garage, 1 goes up and 1 goes down. Take the one that goes down and then drive to the next level down and then you will see the elevator that gets you back to the hotel lobby. You can then take the elevator to the hotel lobby and switch elevators to the elevator that brings you to your room.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Dear Guest,

Thank you and your family for staying with us at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier . I am very happy your family enjoyed there time here and I will definitely pass on your comments to our team.

I also appreciate your comments regarding the coffee in the rooms. Currently we offer a drip coffee in the rooms but we are now exploring the opportunity to move to a coffee Pod service which will allow us to offer a more intense and flavourful coffee as well as offer a bigger variety of premium coffee options for our Guests. I will let people know in a future response once we have officially made this change. Thank you as well for your comment on the TV as I will have someone look at this reception issue immediately.

Again thank you very much for you comments as only through feedback can we ensure we are offering a memorable experience for our Guests.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

We were here for two nights with two young children. Check-in was quick. The room was nice and clean. We had the package that included breakfast for two adults. Wished the package included the kids but their meals wasn't too expensive. The adult breakfasts were yummy. Service was great. Their parking garage was well lit. We had a mountain view room which faces the busy street. During the day, you can hear traffic, but at night didn't hear much. We will be back for sure when we visit Vancouver again.

Dear Pinnacle Reservations,

I am writing this email to say a huge thank you for kindly giving me the opportunity to experience your hotel and North Vancouver at first hand.

The room I stayed in (deluxe King harbour) was amazing and the harbour view was mind blowing. Having never lived in Vancouver, I did not realize how easy it was to get the sea bus back and forth. Great place to stay for those who want to be near downtown but are looking for more of a quiet and exclusive location. I have passed this feedback on to my colleagues, friends and family.

Thank you again for all kindness and generosity.

Kindest Regards

A new facility, Pinnacle operates smoothly, with self assurance that suggests experienced management committed great resources to staff training before the first guests arrived. While the interior designs work in restful harmony throughout the facility, the people contacts stood out as most excellent feature.

Our visit was for a wedding, both ceremony and reception. The dinner quality was extraordinary, well above typical banquet fare. Service and presentation matched the food quality and the entire event was near perfect.

The sleeping accommodation includes fine bed and bedding and the bath fixtures are premium quality.

The friendly staff gave me Room 521 that had stunning views of the Vancouver skyline and I enjoyed the freshair from my balcony, especially after my long flight. The room was well-appointed and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept really well, too well at one point.
The local area is great for exploring, especially Jimmy's Juice Bar at the nearby
Lonsdale Quay Market. I also survived the nearby iconic Vancouver hike of the Grouse Grind. This is a once in a lifetime hike, for me anyway, and the beer at the top was one of the best..The bath on my return to the hotel was well deserved.
The hotel staff, at both the desk and the restaurant, were friendly and made me feel
welcome. Unfortunately no time to use the pool or gym.
On my final morning, I was up early (lov e that jet lag) and saw two enormous cruise liners docking at the cruise terminal across the still water, against the skyline.
What a beautiful city!
against the city skyline
