This is a lovely hotel! We had a harbour view room with a king bed on the 6th floor for the weekend. The view was spectacular! And the room...It was so perfect and well designed. Really loved the layout for the bathroom and the way that natural light was allowed into the bathroom and it had a make-up mirror. And a very good bed! The hotel was quiet - we did not hear our neighbours at all. The restaurant was very good - we ate in the bar area and sat in the sun watching the sun set. Excellent location - we took the Seabus over to Downtown Vancouver and had dinner on Alberni Street and then caught the Skytrain to the Seabus back to the hotel. So convenient.

I stayed here while working in Vancouver for a week. Very convenient location right next to the ferry so access to the city is easy.
Comfortable room, very helpful staff, good breakfasts in the restaurant.
Lots of nice eateries close by.
I will happily stay there again.

My wife had to have cancer-related surgery recently. We chose to stay in the Pinnacle because we knew from several past experiences that our room would be quiet, spacious, comfortable, bright, and relaxing. The panoramic view of the harbour had a calming effect on her, and all of the hotel staff (front desk, lounge, dining room, maid service) were exceptionally kind and thoughtful.

Room Tip: Harbour-view rooms are well worth the extra cost.

We stayed at the Pinnacle Hotel, would highly recommend room 819 with access to a terrace over looking the water, truly incredible views. My husband and I also highly recommend eating at the hotel lounge, excellent food, beverage and wait staff and reasonably priced too!!!

Stayed at the Pinnacle with my wife and daughter while in Vancouver on business, the location is ideal with great views and easy access to the Seabus for the short ride to Downtown.
The hotel itself is great, our room was large and was perfect in everyway.
We used the restaurant for breakfast each morning and would highly recommend eating here, we didn't eat in the evening at the hotel as we were out and about but the bar is a nice place to relax with a drink at the end of the day.
The staff were friendly and always had a smile and a greeting as you entered or left the hotel.
Overall a wonerful place to stay.

The first time we stayed in this hotel was in September 2012 because of our friends wedding. They live in North Vancouver. We found that this hotel was really nice and fit for purposes back in 2012.

This March 2014, we went back to British Columbia for a snowboarding holiday in Whistler mountain. We also planned to have a few days in the city. We decided, instead of staying at downtown, we wanted to be close to our friends in North Vancouver, so we chose to stay at The Pinnacle again. Even better, this time we stayed at the Studio room.

Good things:
- Room service food was fab! Back in 2012 the food was fab, just now in March 2014 the food was still fab! :-) none of them failed us.
- Swimming pool had the Olympic size for the length, yet it was kids friendly. Loads of kids had their swimming lesson in the afternoon (around 15:30 if I'm not mistaken). I loved swimming in the morning as it was quiet. Although, swimming at 15:00 or a bit earlier than that was also good as the kids had not arrived for the lesson and I got loads of sunshine into the swimming pool via the glass walls/windows. It was awesome.
- Studio room was spacious.
- The walking closet made me fly to the moon! :-)
- The bathroom of the Studio room was also massive yet it was pretty (it had a,title table in the corner.. :-) )
- It was very cozy sitting at lobby bar for beers and snacks with friends.

Bad things:
- Unfortunately the Studio room faced the mountains, not the Harbour. When we stayed in 2012, we stayed at the Deluxe room and it was facing the Harbour, much prettier view. It wasn't really a mountain view, more a view of stores, dentists, pharmacy, etc. However, the Studio room itself was fab, so it was fine that we did not have the best view.
- My partner booked the hotel online. We traveled with another couple too. Somehow my partner's last name was mixed with one of those people that we traveled with. We had made it clear at the front desk when we were checking in. As it was weird, that all the details, including credit card name was my partner's name but the room was under one of our friends. We were being called as our friend whenever we called a Room service. Not very nice indeed.

The rest.. This hotel is fully recommended by me especially if you don't want to stay at downtown. In North Vancouver, you are near to Grouse and Cypress mountains.
