Located just over the Lions Gate bridge from downtown Vancouver, check-in was friendly and efficient. Our room was well maintained and large and featured a flatscreen TV. microwave oven, refrigerator, hairdryer and iron/ironing board. Comfort Inn offers complementary breakfast but the breakfast room got extremely busy so expect lots of jostling. It also offers complementary internet access and a swimming pool. Staff were obliging but don't get on the wrong side of the lady who restocks the breakfast provisions! Several good dining options nearby. Given its location this hotel offers good value for money.

Two night stay, very good check in by Gregg who was always friendly and helpful. Eri, on the morning shift, was also very helpful. The room was a corner suite but it was more like an old fashioned efficiency and could have done with a thorough updating. The lighting was very poor, making the room seem dark and dingy, even though there were two windows. The bed was comfortable and the bedding fresh. Breakfast was continental with mini scrambled egg patties and sausage patties. The motel is well placed for Vancouver and for Capilano, Lynn Canyon and Stanley Park. Contrary to other reviews I did not think there was a great choice of eats in the immediate area, seen much better on a small town strip.

Basically across the bridge from downtown Vancouver, this is a great place to stay to be a bit away from the busy city and is a lot more inexpensive! We also went for the suite - it's small, but it's 2 bedrooms and that was great for our group of 5.
The outdoor pool was heated and nice. The breakfast buffet was above average for a comfort in - same fare but somewhat fresher than I've seen in places in the US. Free is always a good price as well.
Service was great, and I liked the perk of the pass to the fitness centre nearby - a very nice facility.
I would definitely recommend!

Room Tip: we had the 2 bedroom at the back on the end - no neighbours is nice!

Stayed here for two nights July 2013. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was standard although the eating area was small and cramped with a few soccer teams staying there. I had a room with only one queen bed so loved the extra room for the kitchette/eating area. Only complaint would be the housekeeping staff coming into my room to bring towels when they knew I was not dressed!

We took two rooms in this hotel for three nights. One was spacious and newly refurbished. The other was tired and cramped with old broken furniture. The breakfast was okay, although the breakfast room was so small that it was not possible to find a seat on a couple of mornings. There is adequate parking and the location is great being just at the north end of the bridge into Stanley Park and Downtown Vancouver.
