I hesitate to write a review of this amazing little place, as it is so lovely that I almost want to keep the secret to myself. Even the obscure location amid industrial supply shops adds to its charm. The meals are original, flavourful, and beautifully presented with excellent personal attention from the servers. The husband and wife team that own and operate Tour de Feast source local, organic ingredients as much as possible and the evidence of that is in every mouthful of food. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food and this is one of the many draws of dining here. The good news is that they are now open for dinner and next week will hopefully have their liquor license so that they can start serving an elite selection of wines to compliment their food. I can't wait to see how their creativity flourishes when they can add a specially selected white or red to enhance the delicate balance of flavour to each dish. Word on the street is that they will soon be offering wine and food pairing opportunities so stay tuned to their website, www.tourdefeast.com

Had a very nice meal at tour de feast but I think it wld be a better lunch spot. For me a French restaurant needs tablecloths and a wine menu. The food was fine - appetizer the best part of the meal and the device friendly and attentive. Will keep an eye on them to see if they get a licence.

A friend had read about this restaurant in the local newspaper, so we decided to check it out for lunch. We made a reservation, although we didn't need to. The interior lacks ambiance - it's quite sparse and the seats are hard - but the food makes up for it. We both had the warm fish salad for $13.99, which consisted of generous pieces of grilled halibut and rock cod served atop a bed of quinoa, chopped tomatoes, pesto aioli, homemade hummus and other goodies. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My friend had the warm pear tart for dessert and loved it. One woman took care of everybody and seemed to know the local clientele who filled the restaurant by the time we left. I would definitely go back for the food.

I am not a person who would ever write a review, but how i came here is after reading the reviews on trip advisor , we were 2 friends travelling to Seattle and we decided to stop in between as we were really hungry, i had the cassoulet & my friend had the 7 hour braised beef (both come with a side green salad, perfectly toasted buttered french baguette & perfectly seasoned roast potatoes) , It was perfectly seasoned, the portion sizes were good! all in all it was one of the finest meals i ever had and it was not even that expensive, every thing with cone coffee costed us both $32. Will we be back ? Definitely.
