“One of summer's pleasures”

We live on the Burrard Inlet and when we had a motor boat, Deep Cove was one of our main summer destinations when friends or family visited. By boat we were 15 minutes away; much closer than by car. We loved hiking around the trails and strolling the Main Street with the shops and restaurants. One of our favourite stops was "Honeys". What great breakfasts were enjoyed at this spot. What fond memories we have of this picturesque ocean front Cove.
It's time to make our way back soon.

Taking the 221bus to Seymour from Pender and Burrard Street , Vancouver we found ourselves at the beautiful Deep Cove, Indian Arm. Beautiful parklands with great walking tracks, plenty of resting seats overlooking the lovely scenery of the water and mountains, ideal for a picnic. Small beach area with kayaks for hire.
Cute town with some shops and restaurants. Lunch at the Bistro on the hill overlooking the bay was lovely, great food at reasonable prices and cocktail specials.

Really cool hike with a couple of bridges, not too difficult trails. Saw people walking from all ages with their families, dogs and kids. The view is stunning from the rock at the top. Perfect for sunny days, as more than half of the hike is in the woods under trees.

There's also plenty of little restaurants, activities to do in the park and the lake (Kayak, SUP, BBQ, etc). Highly recommended for a quality family time on a sunday.

We really love Deep Cove. We enjoy watching the kayakers. There are all kinds of places to just rest and watch the boats and water.

Deep Cove is a lovely little village with some charming small shops and restaurants. It is a residential area but only about a 30 minute drive from Vancouver. All sorts of water activities and places to just sit and enjoy the views. From the water I saw many seals here by the docks! This was the only location I saw wildlife. It was amazing. No big attractions just a nice place for a drive. Worth taking the day or afternoon to see.
