We had this for dinner tonight, take out and ate at the beach. Shared 2seafood platters between 4 adults. Food was great, everything cooked fresh to order, good value.

I love it here as it's the closest to proper Chips from home (Ireland). The portions are good and you can tell that everything is fresh. I love to go in on a Saturday evening for fish and chips and some of their tasty coleslaw

This is our other most favourite north shore restaurant. The only fish I like is cod and their cod dinner - including lovely coleslaw is our choice almost once a week. For $3 you can add either 4 onion rings (fantastic) or 4 deep fried prawns (husband orders some cocktail sauce when he chooses those) to any 'dinner' order.
The batter is so light and crisp that to me it seems a shame to do 'take out' (which is always lined up and comes in authentic newspaper wrapping) because the crispness would be lost.
This is never oily or soggy - the fries are fresh - you can sometimes hear the kitchen busy chopping them up and generous portions. Its a pretty place for a fish-and-chip shop - our grandchildren particularly enjoy the 'high on the wall' living aquariums made to look like paintings but 'real live fish' to watch. Great home-made dill tartar sauce which comes to each table in a large squeeze bottle like the ketchup. Their all you can eat dinner (pollock) includes bottomless pop drink or for authenticity you can order a 'pint' of beer. There is a children's menu which is also available to 'seniors' with 'small appetites'. A fantastic place for those of us who grew up eating fish and chips and a huge improvement over the ones from my childhood I can say!
They do of course have other fish choices - halibut, salmon, etc. So worth trying!!

We're never disappointed when we eat here. Good portions, tender flaky fish, several to choose from, all good. Take out is always an option, hot and fast. Don't forget to try their home made tarter sauce.

Nothing really special here. It's busy as it is one of the only fish and chip places around. I find it very pricey and for a cheaper family meal, I drive a little further to "The Crab Shack out on the Old Dollarton hwy".
