Nice little museum in Markham. Our kids, age 7 and 4 enjoyed the small museum and the crafts were excellent for the kids. It was March break and they had a theme each day and the crafts related to the theme. The our door areas would be great in the summer but it was a bit too muddy and messy at this time of year and the outdoor buildings were mainly closed but it was neat to walk through the olden days village.

Markham Museum connects the history of Markham to today’s new ‘settlers’ by examining our environment and the tools we use to adapt to our changing world. The 25-acre Museum site offers: exhibits, school programs, public programs and events, private event venues and research facilities.
There is an old CNR Business Car used by Prime Ministers, plus a Station and CPR Caboose
