Started off with a hugh single ice-cubed spiced rum, mole, and apertif drink that was delicious. Chef provided an "amuse bouche" of pickled vegetables, nicely presented.
For dinner, we shared the seared scallop appetizer which was wonderful...served with chicken cracklings that added the perfect saltiness to the sweet scallop.
Followed by veal cheeks for dinner. Meltingly soft, like fall off the fork tender brisket...very rich. For the table, had a side of cornbread with sweet potato butter, yummy. And again for the table we had collard greens in a licorice cream sauce that was killer, and they took out the pancetta cause we had a vegetarian at the table. The menu says no substitutions but they were accommodating for vegetarian requests.
And the food was plated beautifully throughout. We enjoyed everything we had.
