Nice place to spend an afternoon, go for a swim, take the dog to the lake, have a picnic. Facilities were surprisingly clean too!

This Is a beautiful provincial park. Spend some time walking on this spit and gain a different view of the southern Okanagan Valley. You can look in every direction from Haynes Point, and savour the beautiful desert landscape. Pack a picnic and spend the day parked on the beach and enjoy the warm waters of Osoyoos Lake. Camping in the provincial park is also an option.

This was a nice place for a walk after a big breakfast at our hotel. Parked the car in the middle of the park and walked as far to the east on Haynes Point as possible. Backtracked and checked out the Boardwalk and marsh area. Don't forget the bug spray! Not too many mosquitoes mid-morning but enough to keep moving.

Stayed June 28-July 4/14 site 40 on the North side. We stayed in a tent and the wind was so fierce 3 out of the six days it was almost unbearable; impossible to light the bbq or campstove on these days. On the days there is no wind there are swarms of tiny green translucent flies everywhere but they don't bite - just annoying. From our site it was about a 4-5 minute walk to the washroom and there are only 3 outhouses so I learned not to leave things to the last minute! The lake is beautiful and warm although there was some weeds in the lake which I guess can't be avoided these days. Bring water shoes if you camp on this side as there is gravel and rocks along the shore. The park rangers were pretty good; no issues with our dog being off leash (although he is well behaved and stayed on our site for the most part). Will likely camp here again in the future although never again in a tent.

Nice camp grounds all spots on the lake, very windy in the afternoon. If you have a boat and camper great spot
