“Beach right outside your room”
Reviewed 22 September 2011

Great location and it has it's own private beach overlooking the Osoyoos lake. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants even to the town center. It's an older hotel. Decor in rooms were quite out dated. But rooms are clean and spacious. Most rooms are facing the lake and it's amazing to listen to the waves while you sleep. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. I was very well rested for my long days of work. The beach were kept very clean and it was very enjoyable to sip a glass of wine watching the ducks and jet skiers after work. I've stayed in this hotel for over 10 days within this months. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Staffs were very helpful and friendly especially Sandy the manager and Michael.

Complimentary breakfast with basic bread and cereal.
Complimentary wifi
Swimming pool with waterslide and hot tub
free parking

Room Tip: ask for a lake view room.

This hotel has an excellent location, right on the beach of Osoyoos Lake. It is just a hop skip and jump from downtown. There are a lot of little stores to explore and close to grocery stores and liquor store (all within walking distance). This is an excellent hotel if you have kids, the lake is very shallow and right out you door. We visited a few wineries and stocked up before we went home. My favourite winery is the Nk'Mip Winery. One night we went for dinner up at the NK'Mip Winery on the patio, what a view from there and the food and service was excellent. Certainly a highlight of our trip. The weather was sunny and hot the whole time we were there. This is our second time staying at this hotel and will certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: book early if you are going during the summer, try to get one facing the lake

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Vancouver from the Kootenays. We didn't have a reservation but check-in was quick and easy. The room we were put in was on the side of the hotel that over looked their private beach with a balcony that provides direct access down to the water. Complimentary continental breakfast was also included! Check-out was 10:30 but they allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot and stick around to enjoy the sun and sand a bit longer before our drive back to town. Their staff are super friendly and helpful as well!
We saw the pool but didn't use it, although it looked like a lot of fun judging from all the kids in there!

We stayed here as the central point for some winery touring, and it was beautiful. It was quiet because of the unseasonablly cool spring, but there were so many amenities that we were kept entertained. Great pool and slide, hot tub, great BBQs and each kitchenette was equipped with everything we could need. The only complaint I would have about this hotel, and it is such a minor complaint, is that the wireless internet required login every time my iphone screen went dark. We had dinner one night at the hotel wine bar, and it was a limited menu, but very fresh and delicious. Just don't expect to have a huge meal there.

We stayed here on a business trip in June. The area was very quiet and between two beautiful lakes. Lakefront to the north was particularly nice. The rooms are small and a bit dated, but the location is first rate.
