Hi Tiffany. Thank you for taking the time post this glowing review of Spirit Ridge.
It certainly sounds as though you were able to take advantage of the many amenities that the resort has to offer. You'll have to join us again as I noticed that you did nor mention the Cultural Centre, rooftop terrace, hot tubs, etc....
Don't forget to ask about our repeat guest rate.
The condos are really good value for the money. ($125) They are well appointed and clean. The views are just amazing and so peaceful.
The main dining room offer mostly off the wall items and even if you think you know what it is it isn't. i.e. the BLT is not like any BLT I have ever had. We found the place so disappointing we drove into town to eat.
Hello and thank you for sharing your experience at Spirit Ridge with the Trip Advisor Community.
I'm so glad that you were able to take in the outstanding views that our resort offers from all directions. We are very excited to share with you our new restaurant concept and Chef, beginning November 1st of this year. We hope you will visit us again in the not to distant future and partake in our new culinary experience.
This was to be a short girlfriend get-a-way. We got an excellent deal for this vacation but received much more than we expected. The accommodations were above reproach; clean clean clean....our dining experience overlooking the vineyard was wonderful & enjoyed the interaction with staff members. The overall experience was one we would love to share with all our family and friends.
Thank you so much for posting this glowing review of your stay at our property.
I'm so glad to hear that we exceeded your expectations. You certainly cannot beat the view from our dining room. We look forward to hosting you and hopefully your friends and family in the not too distant future.
My wife and I stayed at Spirit Ridge for 5 nights to attend a wedding over the last weekend in September. We booked a 1 bedroom and we were located in the” Lavender” building.
Check-in was nice and easy and all the info was explained to in a professional manner.
Room was nice and had a great view of the lake. We were on the 4th floor, the top level courtyard. We had a nice kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and large bathroom. Things felt a little cramped and I think a little too much furniture was in the room. The bed (king) was nice and comfy but perhaps they could have gone with just a headboard and not a footboard as the posts made it very cramped and hard to walk around. Bathroom was nice and big with separated tub and shower and was very clean. The kitchen was fully functional but was missing lots of the standard items they had listed on a sheet posted on the inside of a cupboard. Not an issue, quick call and someone came quickly with the item. The room was clean but I think it needed a deep clean and perhaps a little TLC as it was showing its age. We were a little surprised that our room was made up only once in 5 nights. We didn’t care too much about having our bed made every day but when paying a pretty penny, one should expect this service. We did have to call for towels and they were prompt to bring them.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t all that spectacular so the pool time, courtyard pool, was limited but we did hit the hot tub and it was enjoyable. Could have been a wee bit hotter one of the days but it was nice and large and had great powerful jets.
The café right by the pool was great for a quick snack and a cup of joe.
I went to the gym twice during our stay. I used the one closest to the main courtyard pool as there are 2 fitness facilities. Small but did the trick. 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical, fitness ball, mat, a universal machine and free weights up to 50lbs. Tough to do floor exercises when more than 3 people in the room. Water cooler and towels were plenty the first time but no towels the second time and water cooler was almost dry. I guess I was up earlier than the staff!
We visited the winery and did a tasting. The Nk’Mip wines are nice but haven’t heard from many that they are exceptional. My wife thought they were nice but not over the moon. We purchased a bottle of red, “Talon”.
We ate at the main restaurant “Mica”. We both had a simple pasta and were satisfied. Nice but also, not over the moon.
On one of the rainier days, we went to the Native Cultural Center and watched a live snake show in the theater. The young lady was great and was very knowledgeable. The rattler “Goliath” was the star of the show!
Hit the golf course, Sanora Dunes twice for 2-9 hole rounds. What an awesome little course. Some may call it an executive but because the fairways are pretty narrow, it plays pretty close to a full size difficulty. One par 5, shorter par 4s and regular par 3s. Course is very well maintained, even better than some of the much, much more $$$ tracks I have played lately! $25 for 9, just can't beat that!
As mentioned, we were there for a wedding and the venues associated we attended were great! Unfortunately with the weather, the rooftop was cancelled and moved indoors. The reception was at the Conference Center and was perfect! We even had a meet and greet in the winery itself, right in the basement amongst all the vats and piping. Pretty neat!
I’m sure my review would have been slightly different if the weather cooperated more but I do think the resort needs to pull up its socks a wee bit. The rooms and hallways are showing age and there just isn’t that higher-end feeling with the staff and services. I rate the whole resort a 7/10, just barely a B-
Hello and thank you for posting this very detailed review of your recent stay with us,
I truly am sorry that we did not meet and exceed your expectations. The property is extremely busy during the summer months. Each suite is put through an extensive deep clean & detailing program beginning each fall to bring the rooms and common areas to their optimal condition. I apologize that the suite and common area where you stayed had not been put through this program before your arrival. It's great to hear that you were able to enjoy the resort amenities during your stay. I hope that you will consider visiting us again to hopefully experience better weather and superior service. Feel free to contact me directly when booking your next holiday.

I'm so glad you had a much more peaceful visit this time around.
I'm happy to pass on your comments to the restaurant Team and look forward to welcoming you back to Spirit Ridge for your next holiday.
Just spent a weekend at the Spirit Ridge Resort. This was our third stay at the resort. The hotel is great for couples, families, groups. The amenities are great. There's a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and small water slide for the pool. The rooms have full kitchens and a good size living room. The check-in/out was smooth and easy. The front desk gave us 4 room keys so we all had a key to the room to make it easy. The location is easy to find but not right in town. It's a little bit up the hill and off the main road but only a few minutes by car to get just about anywhere in Osoyoos. We didn't try the winery this time but did the tour previously and it was good.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review of Spirit Ridge.
I'm happy to learn that you enjoyed your recent stay with us and would like to thank you for your continued loyalty. Being situated above the town in the natural elements give the resort a spiritual and tranquil feel. You should definitely make time to visit NK'MIP winery for stay number four. We certainly are looking forward to hosting you again.
