“Excellent hosts”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

We stayed at the White Horse B&B for a single night in September on our way from Nelson to Vancouver and arrived there late due to an unexpected delay.
Lewis kindly directed us to a local eating house on arrival which was excellent and much wanted late in the day.
The accommodation was first class as was the breakfast, and on leaving I unknowingly left a small Apple connecting device in our room. Lewis and his wife kindly emailed me then posted the device to a hotel where we were staying in the future and it arrived safely for us and I reimbursed him for the postage.
They were great hosts and were prepared to go the extra mile for you. Highly recommended.

This is a fine B & B. Easy to find and close to town. Not within walking distance though. Arrive with you happy hour provisions in hand, bevies (you are in wine country!), a snack to get you to dinner time because you won't want to leave the yard once you see the view. It really must be the best view in town. The rooms are well appointed, good beds and bedding, nicely decorated with all the extras you might need. There is a house sitting area with a small fridge, sink, tea and coffee makings, really everything you might need. Your hosts are welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the area. They can actually plan your day for you, it you like. Breakfast was wonderful, no need to leave the table hungry. The dining room just perfect for a full house, a lot of lively chatter with the other guests and your hosts make the morning seem like home.

Room Tip: they do have a room with 3 beds, no need for sharing if you are a mixed group.

Nice view over vineyards and the lake. Top notch breakfast & rooms. Accommodating owners even offered to store any wine we may have so it wouldn't risk getting too warm in the car. Hugs when we left. NICE

Beautiful, warm and spacious, clean rooms. The breakfasts are nothing less than wonderful. You won't leave their table hungry. The view is spectacular, overlooks a winery down in the valley. Great trail near by. Wonderful breakfast chats with Diane and Lewis. Ask Lewis to whip up some of his great scones.

Such a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Osoyoos and the orchards from your room or the patio. We love visiting all the wineries, one of which is next door to The White Horse B&B, and the fun pubs and restaurants downtown are only minutes away. Each of the 3 rooms available have their own ensuite bathroom which is large and very clean. We have stayed in all the rooms over the years and each one is as comfortable as the last! The quiet and welcoming atmosphere is fantastic and the charming host and hostess always draw us to return for another visit. We look forward to the magnificent gourmet breakfast and fresh baking which never disappoints. Can't wait to see you next year Lewis & Dianne......or maybe we'll come again this year!

Really can't think of anything we would improve for this B&B and would highly recommend if you're in the area.
Lovey welcoming people, chatty and helpful with tips/recommendations.
The place is spotless, we had the chance to see all three rooms and each were large, light, quiet and very well kept. There is also a large shared sitting room and terrace for guests, making the most of the fantastic view.
Just outside town so a 10 minute walk in for dinner, but in return it's nice and quiet and you get the fantastic view so in our opinion well worth it.
Delicious breakfast too.

We arrived late evening after a great drive from Vancouver through the Crowsnest Pass. We were welcomed by a gracious host, showed our lovely room and given the keys. We had the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine for sunset, sitting out on a well manicured lawn, looking out over their gorgeos gardens onto Osoyoos lake and the surrounding hills. It was picture perfect. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet. After a great shower we were treated to a delicious breakfast with homemade jams. Delighful.
