My family (2 adults and a 3 year old) visited Abbotsford for work and leisure. Initially we only planned on staying one night. We were in the larger building without the front desk. Our room was on the 2nd floor and near one of the ends, near an exit. The halls were a little small and the carpet was a little out of date, but the room was very nice. There are NO elevators in this building so if you have a lot of stuff, request the other building or first floor.

We stayed in a 2 double room. The beds were comfortable and there was a refrigerator and a microwave, as well as a small table in the corner. The bathroom (with toilet and tub) was tiny! The breakfast was nice. It was the first time I had seen french toast at a breakfast. Very well stocked and the staff was great at keeping it filled for the hungry guests.

We swam in the pool twice. It was very nice. Cozy but fun for a 3 year old and never busy or overly crowded.

We ended up checking out, only to find that we needed another night so we booked the same hotel. This time we ended up in what we were told were suites (upon the first night from the front desk) but we had a 2 double beds as well. The room was nicer then the first. The carpet looked a lot better and there was a desk and the bathroom was much larger. The pool in this building was just as nice. This building DOES have an elevator but we were on the first floor and did not need it.

Overall, this was a very good stay. There were modern touches throughout the hotel and rooms, I just didn't care for the old carpets and the second building without an elevator. Right near highway 1 but we didn't notice any extra noise.

Room Tip: Get a room in the building with the front desk. No elevator in second building where breakfast is.

Thank you for staying with us at the Best Western PLUS Regency. We appreciate your positive feedback about several aspects of the property including our complimentary HOT breakfast, which includes a varied menu of hot and cold items that change from day to day. We continue to improve the guest amenities and we are installing an elevator in the Regency Wing this November! A decent hotel for a decent price. The rooms are a little small, but updated. The hotel is right off the #1 highway, but there is very minimal traffic noise. The swimming pool is also small, but warm enough for little kids to stay in for awhile without freezing! The complimentary breakfast has good choices and was very tasty! Surprisingly, it was the maintenance crew that caught our attention by their friendly interaction with our kids! A good hotel to spend a short stay.

The crown building is much better. This time I stayed again in the best western for 3 nights, not because I had a great experience last time but because is incredible close to the facility I’m working in when I’m in Abbotsford. Anyways this side of the building is much better and the room I got was very good, great light and very comfy and the noise from the hallway is not so bad. The noise from the highway is the only bad thing but this time with a pair of earplugs I had a good sleep
The washroom was very clean and also the room.
The breakfast as always is good and no complaints about it. The only bad thing thing from this stay was the service room from the restaurant. I ordered dinner and they told me 20 minutes, 20 went by, then 40, then 50 and nothing! I called them and said we will call you back, they called me after other 15 minutes, so 1 hrs and 10 minutes already and then they said, sorry there was a confusion on your food we will bring it over now… of course it came and it was cold! They should had charged me for that but anyways. It’s the only negative thing from this time.

Room Tip: crown area

I have stayed here twice now when I have come to Abbotsford on business. The hotel itself is in nice condition and the staff has always been friendly and helpful, The free breakfast is decent and what you would expect from a hotel (eggs, sausage or bacon, pastries, etc.). The ABC restaurant, which is attached to the hotel, has a pretty extensive menu and is also pretty good. I'm sure if one wanted to pay more there are fancier hotels in Abbotsford, but if all you need is a nice place to stay, a basic breakfast, and good, friendly staff, there is no need to.

Both ladies I worked with, Jordanna and Kim, were excellent. Jordanna was able to adjust our meeting space so that we didn't have to move and had adequate space to work on.
Kim accommodated all our rooming needs - the rooms were clean and spacious.
All the staff at this hotel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will come back again for our meetings.

Room Tip: Rooms located on the parking lot side of the hotel were probably quieter. I like my window open at...

Can't say enough about the staff and how friendly, helpful and accommodating they were. Our girls softball team stayed for the weekend and had a great time. We used all the facilities from the pool to the breakfast room and the ABC restaurant onsite. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Would totally stay again. Thanks for the great experience!!

Room Tip: Request a room away from the highway if you are a light sleeper.
