“Will be super when it's finished!”
Reviewed 1 July 2011

The apartment was beautiful inside. Disappointed it was ground floor though. Balcony a no go, as there was still work in progress, so extremely dusty, and you walked straight off the street onto balcony. Not the image I had in my head of a nice glass of wine, whilst viewing the Rockies. Also be aware, this apartment (104), has a lovely adjoining door to the office, (next to the bedroom). So when Office is open, you hear the phones ringing, and conversations!!!!!!! The bedlinen was extremely clean, but some of the cooking dishes had to be washed before we could use them, not so good. Unlike some of the other reviews, we never heard any noise at night at all, infact out of the whole weeks stay, we only saw to people on leaving the apartment. Wasn't easy disposing of our trash, as something was wrong with the electronic system on the door to return, so had to walk all the way round the outside, would have been nice if someone had explained all of this. Also some instructions for the cooker, and microwave would have been a bonus! Super sized fridge/freezer. More dishwasher tablets need to be left also! I hope some of my comments are read in a constructive manner, to help fellow traveller's, and the team trying to hire out these apartments. Nice easy stroll into Canmore, and we thought a nice location for us to travel out each day.

25 and 26 June 2011, 3 girls, 2 bedroom suite. Arrived just as they were closing at 8 pm. The gentleman was kind enough to call to see if we would be there before he left or he would have given us directions on getting the key. We checked in and were provided keys and ... a lovely bottle of wine :-)
The suites are nicely decorated and beautifully appointed. The kitchen has most requirements and is clearly new. Our only complaint about the kitchen was a clogged sink. There was seating for two at the countertop/bar and seating for 6 at the table. Comfy leather sofas, flat screen with cable box (less than 25 channels), iPod docking station, patio with BBQ, washer and dryer in a closet. Both bedrooms with flat screen tvs, very comfy beds and bedding. Bathrooms were nice. Main hallway bathroom had a shower. Ensuite had separate shower and bath, 2 sinks. Provided shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. No kleenex (more a problem for the winter with ski goggles and snot). Only 1 travel sized blow dryer for the two bathrooms (one of us was fine with the blow dryer but it would take an hour with my hair ... sigh).
This is a lovely place, very new and a tiche pricey. I have stayed in 5 or so other places in Canmore and there are lots of lovely condo type places available. I liked the location of this one, quite close to the main street, so easy if you going to go partying.
Only other issue of note - the hot tub would be better labelled as the 'luke warm' tub.

we stayed for 4 days. Kids loved the stay and places that we visited. Very homely feeling and clean. It was home away from home. We would love to go back and stay the same place again and again.

Would love to say something nice but however that is not the case. I am writing ti you at one in the morning as I have just for the third ti e asked chaps to stop having a foot race up and down on halls on the third floor thAt wenare renting. We attempted to also go to the outdoor hot tub this evening however there were so many people there with beer bottles everywhere that it was impossible. They tell you that there is onsite security however there is not and by the time you call someone it's to late. I am sorry but this is not an atmosphere for a fa,ily with children. I believe that some people do
I've here full time and I cannot imagine how they Domitian with all of the noise from guests, next time we are in Canada in the mountains we will be a bit more chosy when it comes to our accomodations. I would love to say it's a great place but cannot at this time

We are sorry to hear that you experienced noise the last time you were here to visit. We usually have just the opposite since it is a shared residence building and people are very respectful of noise especially in the late hours. Since your stay with us we have since hired a security company so that if there are any problems at all they will be here to solve them in less than 5 minutes. Since we are very new it took a little time to iron out some of these issues but now we feel confident that the systems we have in place should stop any late night disturbances. If you would like to come back and see us again we would be happy to give you a special rate to apologize for the disturbance you experienced on your last visit.

Please call me directly should you want to discuss some options.

Thanks for your comments and time,

What a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion! We had a memorable 3 night stay at this lovely Lodge. The apartment was spacious and the view from all rooms was breath taking. The fireplace was the focal point of the living room and the leather sofas were comfortable to curl up on while we enjoyed a glass of wine and savored the view. The 2 bedrooms were again spacious and could easily accommodate a family of 4, 6 if you count the pull out sofa. Loved the large walk in showers and soaker tub was a bonus! The kitchen more that meet our expectations. Everything we needed was provided. We chose to use the BBQ and eat in most nights. The grand dining room table, with seating for 8, had a magnificent view as the sun went down. Hiking trails were close by, downtown was a 5 minute walk, and the Lodge provided the peace and quiet we were looking forward to. The in floor heating kept our feet warm in the morning! Would we recommend this Lodge to our family and friends????? You beat we would in a minute! Thanks for the memories.
