“We Love Spring Creek”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

We have stayed in various Canmore resorts on separate occasions, and by far, our best experience has been with Spring Creek. We have been fortunate to spend time in 3 separate suites during our stays, and this visit we were in the most cozy 1 bedroom, suite 310. I loved that the suite was quiet and private, and that it has an amazing vaulted ceiling, and my husband loved the sound system this particular suite has. It was a bit cold to utilize the deck, but we did use the grill a lot! We love that Rundle Cliffs is so close to shops and walking trails, and that it has a gym just a couple of floors below. We love our privacy and look for extra comforts when we travel (cozy getaway), and we have found that perfect combination at Spring Creek, Rundle Cliffs! Highly recommended.

We were very happy overall. The room had that "wow factor" when we first opened the door. Very clean, open, modern, quiet. Good value. Our only challenge was in finding the reception desk the first time. Signage did not seem clear. We were very happy with everything else. Planning a second stay.

Well of course we are in the middle of the Rockies so that is hard to beat. The weather was crisp and not too cold , and we had light snow most days. The town was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The community at Spring Creek , where this lovely condo is, had activities for families, is in walking distance to the quaint down town and restaurants , within 30 minutes of world class down hill, and to boot they are 10 minutes from world class cross country skiing.
It is a walking around type of atmosphere and you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Room Tip: when they say sleeps 4 it means sleeps 4.. don't try to squeeze in an extra person or 2.

My wife and I stayed at the Rundle Cliffs Luxury Mountain Lodge for three nights in November 2013. We were touring in the area and booked only one day before our arrival. That approach might not work so well in the peak winter and summer seasons though.

Our arrival was dealt with efficiently. We simply turned up to the resort office, which is open from something like 9am to 9pm each day (you'll need to check the times, but it was definitely longer than 9-5), left a credit card deposit and were given our keys. There was a large underground car park to thaw out our hire car in.

Our apartment was comfortable and beautifully presented (photos attached), although it did feel like they'd tried to cram a bit too much furniture into the lounge. However, if I had the resources I would very happily live there full time. There was also a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine and drier.

The resort is just a few minutes walk from Canmore's Main Street, so it's handy for popping into town for lunch or dinner.

Basically, it's a lovely place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Just stayed over the weekend with 3 friends. We all loved it! Spent the extra $ and stayed in #211 which was beautiful. Beds were comfy. This unit is immaculate. It was walking distance on the wooden walkway to main street and the views from our condo were breathtaking

Room Tip: Unit 211, 2 bedroom Grand

We had a fantastic break in beautiful Canmore. This is a magnificent property in a quiet location a short walk from downtown. An excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable, peaceful getaway. Rooftop hot tub was especially appreciated. Highly recommended!

This was our third stay at Rundle Cliffs. The suites are large and roomy and views and location excellent. However, the kitchen was missing at least one essential item namely a frying pan.Overall there was an absence of attention to detailed cleanliness ie the windows and screens were dirty and the carpets were in need of shampoo or replacement. Bathrooms and kitchen were nice and clean.Overall a favorable experience and we will be back but would appreciate management making sure that all elements of suite are first rate - that is what we expect.....
