“Great day with stunning scenery and super dogs”
Reviewed 30 January 2014

We just got back from the 4 hour tour and we had an amazing experience!!! The dogs are super and so are the guides. We were all allowed to ride on the back or sit in the sled and change as often as we wanted. The lunch was great and the scenery was stunning.

Thank you so much.

“A bucket list experience”
Reviewed 13 January 2014

My husband, two-year old, and I had a great experience dog sledding just before Christmas 2013. Our guide was wonderful and cheerful and had extensive knowledge about all the dogs on our sled. As it was a chilly day (especially for us visiting from Texas!), we weren't sure how our little one would do. We dressed him in snow gear and our guide covered him both in a blanket and in his own outer coat to make sure that he would be toasty in the sled. Within minutes, he was asleep. Not even the excited barking of the dogs could wake him! The views across the Kananaskis area were spectacular and we enjoyed this trip immensely. Interacting with the dogs both before and after the two-hour trip was the highlight for our little guy (and the hot chocolate at the end!). He wanted to hug all the dogs and they didn't seem to mind at all. So glad we did this. When our little one is bigger (probably 7 or more), we'd like to do it again and let him have the experience of "driving" the sled. My husband really enjoyed riding on the back with the guide and I was cozy inside the sled. Overall, a great experience.

“Right what we wanted!”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

We took the short tour:2hours, over the ice and in the trees and back. It was super, my husband could lead the dogs and I sat in the sledge with our 3 kids. The 5months old and three year old fell asleep, the five year old helped my husband and could also stand on the back of the sledge. So I only had to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Great!

“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

Great time! Very cheerful guides and friendly dogs. A solid, scenic dogsled tour with spectacular sites of the Rocky Mountains all around you, and the dogs are well loved, cared for and treated as family members.. Exactly what I like seeing! Watching the guides praise and pet their dogs for doing a good job made my day. I Highly recommend Mad Dogs and Englishmen.

“Great experience”
Reviewed 14 December 2013

A small company that offered us a great experience. loved being able to interact with the dogs. It was a beautiful day, although frigid temps, recommend good warm layers, especially feet and neck muff etc. Our <2year old went to sleep encased in her sleeping bag on the sled! Russ and JD looked after us well, and we enjoyed being able to pilot the sleds ourselves. Welcome hot chocolate at the end. The junction restaurant not open the day we visited.
