Very nice hotel with great, friendly service. Front desk went out of their way to insure that we had what we wanted - TV schedule printed and given to us - book with menus for area restaurants. This was our last night in Canada so we wanted to use all Canadian money. They reversed credit card charge, accepted all our Canadian currency and then charged credit card for balance. This was a very nice service as it saved us charges that currency exchange at airport would have charged us.

We just found everyone at this property very friendly easy to ask questions of. Nice breakfast but I do have to say I have never encountered round disks of scrambled eggs outside of McDonald's - interesting - but appreciated that there was a microwave to reheat breakfast items. Also pleasantly surprised to find ice tea offered in the afternoon in the lobby.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Clean, comfy, and very nice rooms. Lots of pillows on each bed so you have a choice. Coffee maker and MICROWAVE in the room. Very nice! Pool is great! Continental breakfast is terrific! You will not be disappointed. :)

I had a few days in the Rockies whilst on a business trip and chose this place based upon other Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed.

The hotel is in a good location for the Rockies, about a 20 minute drive from Banff and only 5 mins outside the town centre. The biggest plus was that this hotel was not ridiculously overpriced for its location and is outside of the National Park, so saves on the daily entrance charge.

The room in the hotel was spotlessly clean, and in very good condition. To be honest, I couldn't really ask for anything more. The complimentary breakfast was very reasonable too, with a mixture of hot and cold food, teas and coffees etc. The ice tea provided by the hotel in the lobby during the day was a nice touch too.

I am planning on coming back to the Rockies again, and fully intend on staying here again.

This was the second of four Best Western Hotels we stayed in during our week touring around Alberta. This was the most expensive at $190 (tax included) for one night and that was a special rate. Of course you are paying a premium for the location as this didn't offer anything more than the other Plus brand hotels we stayed in except the propane fireplace. It is a more affordable option to staying right in the town of Banff and only about a 15 minute drive away.

The lobby is quite large and bright and the pool is located just off the lobby. There is only one slow elevator servicing the hotel. While the included breakfast is pretty standard fare, the room was large enough to accommodate many guests.

The rooms were typical of Best Western Plus standards, were very clean and well maintained. Beds were quite comfy. And, as I mentioned, we had the added luxury of a propane fireplace, which we didn't need to make use of because of the warm weather.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. It's located on the edge of town and not too far from the town of Banff so a little more affordable option then staying right in Banff. Definitely need a car to get anywhere.

We stayed in a King room, which had a jacuzzi tub in a very large bathroom, a small balcony next to a desk area, a fireplace with chairs, a mini-fridge, etc. It was very quiet, and we slept well. The toiletries were from Bath & Body Works and smelled very nice (not too sweet or flowery). The bathroom setup was a bit odd in that there is a fogged glass double-door leading into the bathroom - right next to the bed. Then again, if you are sharing a bed with someone, you presumable already know them well. ;-) Although the decor of the hotel and room were outdated, everything was clean. The pool looked like fun and was open late, but it would have been nice to have an adults-only hour. The breakfast wasn't good.... The location, however, was perfect for us. It is located very near the freeway, which makes it easy to get to Banff, Lake Louise, and Icefields Parkway. We drove into Banff once and were happy we weren't staying there! I would recommend this hotel for anyone to use as a home base for the area.

Stayed one night using a promotional coupon ( 3 stays gives you 1 free night at any of the Best Western hotels). Great stay. Very friendly service from check in staff and any staff we encountered during our visit. Very nice room which had 2 Queen beds, a couch and a fireplace. The recreational area included a fitness area, sauna, steam room, hot tub and a good size pool. The pool has a water slide for the kids. Nice to see a hotel with a sauna, steam room and a hot tub which is certainly not typical for hotels today. It includes breakfast which has many choices including fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausages, waffles, pancakes, etc. Very enjoyable stay-would certainly stay here again

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hot for a great mountain view.

Picked this location after reviewing comments from other hotel guests on Tripadvisor. For our one night's stay, this property was perfect for our family - it met our family's needs perfectly. Our room overlooked the highway side of the hotel, despite hearing the highway traffic (we had our window open) we slept perfectly through the night. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning to our mountain view. The room was clean through out & had Bath & Body products (soaps) for its guests. Our family enjoyed the use of the pool/hot tub especially after a long days drive. The breakfast that was served in the morning was perfect. There was a tour group also having breakfast at the same time of us, and despite the group, there were ample food items, it was well maintained. There is a diner next door to this property, with average prices and good sized portions for our supper meal. If you feel like walking, you can easily walk into the downtown/business area of Canmore. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in the Canmore area ..... its about a 15-20 minute drive into Banff!
